Pragya: I found paper-I of UGC NET of moderate difficulty level. There were Mathematical questions in the exam, which were easy to solve. The Reasoning and Comprehension questions were also easy. For me, questions from Research part were a bit tough. However, I believe, that UGC NET cutoff will be high this year as the exam was easy.
Mansi: I appeared for UGC NET for the first time this year and it went good. Maths and Logical Reasoning questions were less in paper-I, however, it was a good paper. The UGC NET syllabus was changed this year but even then I found the paper easy. I had attempted UGC NET July 2019 and December 2018 question papers for practice. In comparison to previous years’ papers, I found this year’s paper-I good. There were no technical glitches in the exam.
Sakshi: Paper-I was really easy. Any student could solve the paper easily even if s/he was not prepared well. I am quite happy with how my paper-I went.
Arijit: For me, the difficulty level of paper-I was medium. Numerical questions in the paper were easy; anyone could solve them easily. Questions from Teaching Aptitude were of moderate difficulty level.
Priyanka: I attempted the UGC NET exam for the fourth time this year. I have seen changes in the UGC NET exam pattern over the years. But paper-I was really easy this year. However, the Reading Comprehension section in the paper was of moderate difficulty level. The problem was we had to scroll the screen right, left, up and down every time to answer the questions, which affected my concentration. The Computer and Literature sections in the exam were easy. There were few questions, which were unexpected in the exam. For instance, there were few questions on Hollywood, which I had never thought would come. Overall, it was a good experience giving the exam in online mode.
Vaniki: This was my first attempt at the UGC NET exam. It was an amazing experience, especially because it was for the first time I gave an exam in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. There were not many GK questions in the exam. However, questions from Computer section were in good number. Giving the UGC NET exam this year gave me an idea about the type of questions that come in the paper and the kind of preparation that I need to do going forward. One of the main things that I have realised by giving the paper is that theory, model papers and research is extremely important for the exam.
Naresh: Overall, paper-I was easy. Students who were under prepared for the exam could also solve the paper easily.
Mohit: For me, paper-I of UGC NET 2019 exam easy. However, I found analytical part of the questions tough. Overall, I found the paper a bit tough than previous years’ papers.
