UGC NET December 2019: Difficulty Level of Paper-II
Majority of the candidates that Shiksha spoke to had appeared for Forensic Science and Mass Communication papers. According to students, both UGC NET 2019 Forensic Science and Mass Communication papers were moderate to difficult.
Mansi (Forensic Science paper): For me the difficulty level of paper-II was moderate. I think it was a good paper because I have studied Forensic Science for three years. I did not know all the questions as I was not well prepared for it. However, some questions were really familiar to me. Last year’s UGC NET cutoff was around 60-66 marks, but I am hoping that this year the cutoff would not go that high. I think that the cutoff would be around last year’s cutoff only.
Sakshi (Forensic Science paper): As compared to previous years’ UGC NET question papers, this year’s Forensic Science paper was a bit tough. All levels of difficulty of questions were there in the paper.
Shreeja (Forensic Science paper): I have completed my MSc in Forensic Science from Delhi University. Overall, I found the UGC NET paper-II tough. Although I did not appear for the exam last year, but I think that the difficulty level of the paper-II was set higher this time. Although I am satisfied with how I have answered the questions in the exam.
Neha (Forensic Science paper): I had appeared for UGC NET Forensic Science paper last year as well. For me, this year’s Forensic Science paper was difficult than last year’s paper.
Shilpi (Forensic Science paper): The Forensic Science paper this year was not what I had expected. It was a tough for me.
Bharti (Forensic Science paper): I have done MSc Forensic Science from Delhi University. For me, the paper-II was moderate. It was neither difficult nor easy.
Nidhi (Forensic Science paper): I had appeared for UGC NET last year as well. I found this year’s paper better and of moderate difficulty level.
Santosh (Forensic Science paper): My paper went moderate. However, I think that the difficulty level of the exam also depends of the educational background of the candidate. The difficulty level varies for candidates belonging to BSc, MSc or Professor background.
Anshika (Mass Communication paper): The Mass Communication paper was good. Questions in the exam came outside of the syllabus and from every field. Overall, the paper was of moderate difficulty level.
Mohit (Mass Communication paper): For me, UGC NET paper-II was a bit tough. We had questions from non-verbal Reasoning section, which were difficult. I think UGC NET has expanded its level of asking questions this time.
