Yes, an CUET applicant can opt for one or more combinations of the following:

  • Section IA and I B: Language Test
  • Section II: Domain subject test
  • Section III: General Test

Candidates will be able to opt up to a maximum of six subjects in order to apply to different applicable courses that require these subjects for being eligible for admissions. Q:   What is the selection criteria for UG in economics? Is it based on CUET scores only? What is the role of grade 12 marks on UG in economics?

A:
The selection criteria for undergraduate admission in economics can vary between universities and colleges. 1. CUET scores: Many universities require candidates to take an entrance exam such as CUET (Common Undergraduate Entrance Test). 2. Grade 12 marks: The marks obtained in the Class 12 board examination are also considered by many universities while shortlisting candidates for admission. 3. Personal statement and essay: Some universities may also require candidates to submit a personal statement or essay explaining their interest in economics and why they want to pursue the subject at the undergraduate level. 4. Extracurricular activities: Many universities also consider a candidate's extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, and community service while making admission decisions. Therefore, the role of Grade 12 marks on UG in economics is significant not based on CUET scores alone. The weightage given to each of these factors may vary between universities and colleges. It is always advisable to check the admission criteria and selection process of the university you wish to apply to.

Q:   What is the minimum marks required for BHU in CUET?

A:
