CUET 2022 Application Process to Commence on April 6

The CUET 2022 application process will commence on April 6. Originally the application window of CUET 2022 was scheduled to open on April 2 but it got delayed by four days. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified this on April 2 late evening. The last date to apply for the exam is May 6. The exam will be conducted in the first and second week of July in a computer-based mode. The duration of the exam will be 195 minutes (3.15 hours) and 225 minutes (3.45 hours) for Slot 1 and Slot 2 respectively.

CUET 2022 Exam Structure

CUET 2022 will carry multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections. The first section will be further divided into two sub-sections. The structure and pattern of the exam are given in the table below.

  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/s tat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Marking scheme: Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.

The question paper will be in 13 languages, which are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

CUET (UG) 2022 will be conducted for admission to various Undergraduate courses/ programmes offered by central and other participating Universities/ Institutes across the country. CUET 2022 scores will be accepted by 42 Central Universities including Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Milia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, Visva Bharati University, Central University of Tamil Nadu, University of Hyderabad, Central University of Kerala, North Eastern Hill University, Central University of Punjab, among others. A number of private and Deemed Universities will also accept the scores of CUET 2022. On April 1, NTA had started the registration process for universities.

No, Jai Hind College is not under CUET. Students are offered seats purely on a merit basis for all the programmes. The college considers past academic performance while shortlisting the candidates.

Yes, Manav Rachna University does accept CUET scores. While the university primarily considers the MRNAT score to shortlist students, it also considers other exams. CUET along with JEE, CLAT, UCEED, etc., are all accepted for admissions.

Yes, students can get admission in City Academy Law College without CUET. The college accepts both CUET and Lucknow University Exam scores to shortlist students. In case, a valid CUET score is not available, students have the option of submitting Lucknow University exam scores instead.

Most of the courses in City Group of College is offered on the basis of CUET scores. However, it is NIT compulsory. The college also accepts Lucknow University entrance exam, AKTU exam etc. socres to admit students into different UG and PG programmes.

No, students can not get into Hindu College, University of Delhi Without giving CUET exam. CUET score is necessary to get admisisons in Hindu College. After the results of CUET, the cut off is released. The seats are allocated through Common Seat Allocation System  (CSAS) of Delhi University.
