The CUET B.Sc admission eligibility criteria are prescribed by the participating universities. Candidates planning to take admission in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programmes through CUET UG scores must carefully review the detailed eligibility requirements before applying. The CUET UG 2026 admission process for B.Sc courses is expected to begin in the second week of July 2026 soon after the declaration of results. NTA will announce CUET UG result 2026 tentatively in first week of July 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must ensure to apply for CUET counselling to appear for admission process.

CUET B.Sc Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

To secure admission to B.Sc programmes through CUET UG, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognised board
  • Applicants must select CUET subjects that align with their Class 12 stream (Science subjects preferred)
  • If a Class 12 subject is not listed in CUET, a closely related subject should be selected
  • At least 50% of the syllabus between Class 12 subjects and CUET subjects should match
  • Candidates must appear for CUET UG 2026 and obtain a valid score
