New dates for the IISER Entrance Exam schedule have been released. Check new details here.
The IISER Entrance Exam will be conducted on August 12, 2020, and new dates for the remaining schedule has also been announced. Before knowing the new dates, candidates are advised that the application window is currently open and the last date to apply online for IISER Entrance Exam is till July 8, 2020. The last date to apply was further extended from June 10, 2020, to July 8, 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19.
Students can upload the marks and category certificate online from July 15, 2020, onwards. Students who have applied online can download the IISER Entrance Exam admit card which will be available from July 23, 2020, onwards. With the entrance exam being conducted on August 12, 2020, as schedule, the IISER Entrance Exam answer key will be released online on August 13, 2020.

How to Apply For IISER Entrance Exam
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for IISER Entrance Exam:
Step 1: Visit the official ‘Admission’ page of IISER.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online’ for either KVPY or SCB.
Step 3: On registering, the candidate has to log in and proceed to fill the IISER Entrance Exam application form.
Step 4: The candidate will have to enter their personal and academic details.

Step 5: Upload the images according to the size and dimensions mentioned in the application form.
Step 6: Once all the details are filled, the student can proceed to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card.
Step 7: Once the payment has been made, the candidate will receive a mail on their email IDs confirming the candidate applying for IISER Entrance Exam.

IISER score 200 or above is a good marks. It can help to get admission to IISER Pune and IISc Bangalore. Candidates must have a good conceptual knowledge, give priority to all four subjects. Prepare for the exam according to the exam syllabus and take mock test to score above 200.

Based on previous year analysis, IAT exam is moderately difficult. It requires strong conceptual knowledge. Students who have prepared properly for exam can easily score good marks.

It is quite difficult for the GEN / OBC category to get admission to IISER with 50 marks. Even the reserved category students have less chance in the later counelling round for admission. To secure admission, students must score above 150 marks.

IISER exam is considered of moderate difficulty level. Majority of students finds Physics, and Mathematics challenging. PCM students may find biology tough while PCB students might find Mathematics tough. However, the difficulty level of IISER compared to JEE Main and Advanced is moderate to easy.
