CUET stands for Common University Entrance Test. It is a national level entrance test conducted by National Testing Agency for UG and PG programs. The CUET UG exam consists of three sections - langauge, domain subjects and General Test. All sections of CUET have 50 questions in each subject. The CUET question paper will consist of questions on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus.

For DU and central universities, yes. UG admissions to B.Sc Biotechnology (Hons) at DU colleges are through CUET UG 2026. Many private universities do not need it. They use their own tests or your Class 12 marks. Check each college's admission page. Do not skip CUET if you want a government seat.

Check the notice before you rely on it. You must qualify JEE Main or CUET for UPTAC. A news report says only candidates with a valid JEE Main 2026 rank could register. The special rounds list CUET (UG) 2026 along with JEE Main. So CUET may help only in some rounds. JEE Main is the safe choice.
