CUET PG 2026 application form is expected to be released in the first week of January 2026, along with the announcement of the notification and information bulletin. The application process for CUET PG 2026 will be completely online. The tenure to complete the application process will be approximately one month. Based on student requests and other external factors, the National Testing Agency, or the exam conducting body, may extend the last date of application. 

Test takers are advised to check the CUET PG eligibility criteria before applying. Candidates will also get the opportunity to edit the incorrect details filled in the application form. CUET PG 2026 will be held in March 2026, over a window of multiple days and slots. While filling up the CUET PG application form 2026, students have to fill the form with mandatory details, select subjects and exam city choices, and pay the application fee.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility factors decided by the Central Universities in order to apply and appear for CUET PG 2026. NTA will announce the eligibility criteria or factors in the information bulletin, which will be released along with the CUET PG application form 2026. The expected eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2026 are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they pass the qualifying exam before the counselling process
  • There is no age limit for applying for CUET PG exam. However, universities may have separate eligibility criteria regarding age limit or other factors

Note:

  • For admission in Universities through CUET PG 2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the
    respective University shall be applicable.
  •  As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
  • Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying.
  • Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfil the Programme
    wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

You need to follow these nationalities rules before filling CUET PG application form:

Firstly student must be an Indian citizen.

A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan.

A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.

Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.

How to Fill CUET PG Application Form 2026

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to apply for CUET PG 2026 registration form:

Registration Form 

First and foremost, aspirants have to register for the CUET PG 2026 exam by visiting the official portal. They have to click on the Register Now tab and fill up the personal and contact details. Create a password and select a Security Question and its answer. After submitting the details, the Registration Number or User ID and Password will be generated. This must be preserved till the admission process is completed. Following information have to be entered for completing the registration process:

  • Candidate Name

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Guardian’s Name

  • Date of Birth from the drop-down box

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Identity Type (Select a valid Photo Identity Card type)

  • Identity Card Number

  • Present and Permanent Address

  • Email ID

  • Mobile Number and Alternate Contact Number

  • Choose Password (8-13 characters with one special character, one uppercase character, one lowercase character and one numeric character)

  • Select a Security Question and Answer

  • Enter Security Pin

  • Verify the submitted details

  • Enter OTP sent to Mobile Number 

Application Form Fill Up

The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form, including filling up of personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images and documents (if any).

Below are the personal details to be filled in the application form:

  • Confirmation of PwBD category

  • Selecting reserved categories
  • Parent’s Qualification

  • Parent’s Occupation

  • Annual Family Income

  • Domicile State

  • Place of Residence

  • Medium of Studying in Qualifying Education- Class 10, 12, Graduation (School/ College name, passing marks, board name, year of passing, percentile/percentage)

  • Other Quota & Category Information and Confirmation such as BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Ward of Defence Personnel or Ex-Serviceman, Claim for NCC Quota, Claim for Sports Quota, Ward of University Employee

Documents to be uploaded

Applicants have to upload the following documents:

i. A Recent passport-size photograph with 80 per cent of the face visible, including ears, taken against a white background.
ii. Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)

Application Fee Payment

After completing the CUET PG registration and filling the application form, candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI modes. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank Payment Gateway Integrator.
The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then candidates have to approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.
Candidates have to download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the CUET PG 2026 Application Form for future reference.

How to check CUET PG Application Form Status

After filling and submitting the application form and paying the online registration fee, applicants should check and confirm the final status as "Submitted". In case the fee is not paid or the form is not submitted properly, the status will be displayed as "Not Submitted". If the candidates have not completed all the steps of the CUET PG 2026 application form and want to pay the registration fee, they will not be able to pay the registration fee. Paying the CUET PG 2026 application fee is the final phase in the CUET PG application form 2026.

Q:   How many subjects can be opted in CUET PG while filling the application form?
A: 

CUET PG 2026 examination is expected to be scheduled in the month of March, 2026. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam will be able to fill the online application form in the month January 2026. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

Before choosing the multiple subjects for the examination, candidates are advised to check the minimal education eligibility criteria for the particular course candidate has applied for. Also check the university specific subject criteria for the subject a candidate wants to appear for.

Q:   How to select a university programme while filling out CUET PG application form?
A: 

One of the important stages of filling out CUET PG 2026 application form is selection of university programme list. Candidates are advised to select their desired university and programme offered through it wisely, otherwise it may create hindrances in the CUET PG 2026 counselling process.

Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.

Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.

CUET PG 2026 Application Form: Important Documents

Before paying the CUET PG 2026 registration fee, the most important step in the CUET PG application form 2026 is uploading the CUET PG 2026 documents that are being requested by the exam authority on the web portal. The exam authority will not ask for any graduation or category certificates to be uploaded. However, candidates are required to upload the following documents:

  • Candidate's Photograph
  • Candidate's Signature

CUET PG 2026: Application Form Document Specification

Candidates are requested to upload scanned images of candidate Photograph and Signature in the below-specified format:
i. The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
ii. The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
iii. The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb and 200 kb (clearly legible).
iv. The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb and 30 kb (clearly legible)

v. A scanned copy of the PWD/PwBD Certificate should be named 'Disability Certificate' and in PDF format, between 10 kb and 300 kb
In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph and signature of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result/Score Card, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be subject to actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Information Bulletin relating to Unfair Means Practices.

What after CUET PG 2026 Application Process

After submitting the CUET PG 2026 application form, students are advised to save the application form in the form of a PDF or print out the application form for future use. The CUET PG application form will have the candidate's details such as the CUET PG application number, which is needed at the time of downloading the CUET PG Admit card.

Candidates are also instructed to save the login credentials details of the account they have created on the CUET PG 2026 log-in portal. These login credentials will be needed at every further stage including the release of the admit card, provisional answer key, response sheet, and result of the candidate. All these events will be published in the candidate's registered account.

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make the changes in the application form. 

If candidates made any mistake in CUET PG 2026 registration forms, they can correct it in the correction window. Here we have provided steps to correct the application form:

If candidates found that they filled some incorrect details, they will get the opportunity to rectify it during the CUET PG application correction window period.

Q:   The session expired while filling the CUET PG application form. What should I do?
A: 

Candidates filling the CUET PG 2026 application form had to fill and submit it within 30 minutes of logging into the registered account. Also, they must have kept saving each section of the application form to avoid filling it again if the session expired. To ensure completing the form in under 30 minutes, applicants were advised to keep all the information handy.

Even if due to some reasons candidates were not able to fill the form in a one go and the session got expired, they need not to worry about it. Candidates can again visit the official webiste, prior to thst delete the history of the previous login in the CUET PG portal and then again start completing the application process from the part where the information was not earlier saved.

Q:   What are the dates for CUET PG application correction window?

The CUET PG application process for the academic session 2026-2027 will start in January 2026, tentatively, at the CUET PG 2026 official website. While filling out the CUET PG application form, there are high chances that the applicants might fill in some incorrect details mistakenly. 

In order to correct the incorrect details filled by the applicants in the application form, NTA will soon open the CUET PG 2026 correction facility window.

FCampus Law Centre, DU LLB course admission is conducted via the CUET PG 2026 exam. Candidates must register for the CUET exam. Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUET PG 2026 – Link will be provided soon

Step 2: Read the instructions and select the agreement checkbox followed by clicking on the tab 'Click Here to Proceed'

Step 3: Enter personal details such as candidate name, parents' name, date of birth, gender, nationality, identity type and number followed by present and permanent address

Step 4: Choose password and security question and enter captcha

Step 5: Once the application number and password are generated, log in with the credentials to complete the application process

Q:   When will be CUET PG 2026 Application Form releasing?
A: 

CUET PG application form 2026 is anticipated to be released in the first week of January 2026 to provide admissions to postgraduate degree programs like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and other professional degrees like MBA, BEd, LLB, and LLM courses.

 Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form

as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.

The submission of the Application of a candidate could be considered as successful and his/her candidature would be
