M.Ed	Candidate must have obtained at least mentioned marks or an Equivalent Grade in any one of the following programme (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories from the State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ/DT*- NT (A)*, NT (B)*, NT (C)*, NT (D)*, OBC*, SBC* Categories having Caste Certificate, Caste Validity and Valid Non Creamy Layer Certificate* valid up to 31 March 2024 ) (i) B.Ed. (ii) B.A.-B.Ed./, B.Sc.-B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated Course) (iii) B.El.Ed. (iv) D.El.Ed./D.T.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree with 50% marks in Each Course (Minimum 45% Marks in case of Backward Class Categories from the State of Maharashtra only). Candidates who are Appearing/ have appeared for the Qualifying Examination will be eligible for Admission only if they produce the provisional/Degree Certificate of the Qualifying Examination.
B.Ed	Candidates who wants to take admission in the English Medium Colleges will have to appear for English Language Content Test (ELCT) also. There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.Ed. CET Examination in the Academic Year 2023-2024. Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2023.

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. Sikkim University takes applications from the deserving UG and PG students for merit-cum-means scholarship in the prescribed format. Meritorious students who have secured 55% (50% for SC, ST, and OBC) in qualifying examination/ overall percentage of previous semesters as the case may be (50% for renewal cases) with an average family income of less than INR 60,000/- per annum and receiving no other scholarship/ financial assistance from any other source are eligible to apply. Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams.
