Bachelor of Physical Education is a three-year-long undergraduate course. It is a degree in outdoor education that consists of sports like gymnastics, yoga, cricket, and many more. Those candidates who have completed their higher secondary examination can pursue this course. The main scope of this degree is to make teachers and students focus on physical fitness, exercises, anatomy, movements, nutrition, etc. Its introduction was meant for the youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
In this course, students learn about theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Some theoretical subjects include the history of physical education, sports management, English and communication skills, physiology, psychology, etc. The practicals include sports such as boxing, badminton, football, swimming and so on.

Syllabus for Distance Program in Physical education
Students who cannot opt for a full-time degree may opt for distance education. Students failing to meet the eligibility requirements for full-time courses may go for distance learning. Students who have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board or university are eligible for this course. The syllabus of distance education programs is mostly similar to the full-time programs. The evaluation format accounting for 30% for internal and 70% for end semester scores is also the same.
