The placements, infrastructure and the faculty of the college are awesome.
Placements: There is an active placement cell in the university, and there are various companies including Wipro, Teach for India, and several other well-known NGOs come and offer jobs to the students from various discipline. The placement cell also keeps students up to date regarding upcoming events and interviews.
Infrastructure: BHU is one of the world's largest residential university having an area of 1300 acres. The buildings are painted neat, red and yellow colours exhibits its uniformity and pride. Every department has its own building. The labs, garden, toilets and library are available. The university has a central library which also includes a digital up to date library and many books. It has its own agricultural farm, greenhouse, own hospital and several canteens and cafeterias. And it also has Vishwanath temple, with the world's largest minaret. Hostel rooms are well-equipped with large bathrooms, playgrounds. The hostel life is full of outdoor and indoor activities.
Faculty: BHU stands 3rd in HRD ranking in India's universities. And also, it stands among the topmost Asian universities. The name Banaras Hindu University itself is enough to represent you in a crowd. You name a course, and BHU is the answer, but if only you can crack the all India entrance. BHU offers not only undergraduate courses in arts, science and commerce but also postgraduate courses in all streams. It offers nursing, medicine and management courses and these faculty members itself has good ranking in their respective fields. We have got mass communication, journalism, fine arts, visual arts and literature studies in all languages. Not only that but also BHU houses IIT. And I'm sure I must be missing out on a few courses. Therefore you need to apply for yourself and find out more.
Other: What else you can ask for when you're already at the central university like BHU. We have a main annual event called Spandan, which is our very own Holi, Diwali and Eid. It is a big celebration which includes dance, drama and every other literary event and also celebrity night. Then we have particular events and fests all around the year in different facilities. We have sports events and theatrics. There are inter-university events and competitions. University life is beautiful as the campus provides you with ample opportunities and serene locations and good food as well as economical and tasty.

The environment is peaceful and suitable for studying.
Placements: There is no placement in this course, but you can get placed if you opt for the Diploma course of the department, which is a PG Diploma in Geoinformatics. This course provides 90 %+ placement guarantees with an average package of 3 LPA to 4 LPA for students.
Infrastructure: The class is fully functional with Wi-Fi and Educom so that classes can be conducted virtually. Also, presenting the PPT and showing the maps and other software used on the laptop makes the class more interactive. The fans, lights, podium, and all other facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Professors are very experienced and intelligent, and the syllabus is so holistic. The semester exams are moderately easy. The questions are asked from previous years, and also questions are from the syllabus itself, so it's not a big deal if you are good at the subject.
Other: The amount of fests and events held at BHU always amazes me. The arts faculty is full of events, and the spiritual events at Birla Temple are mesmerizing. The cleanliness and crowd are so captivating that they make this place so satisfying.
