BHU BCom Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BHU BCom (H) course is of three years long and is offered in full-time mode. Candidates wanting to take admission must be Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board. BHU BCom (H) admission is done based on merit in the CUET exam. The eligible students can go to the CUET website to register and apply. Shortlisted students have to take part in BHU counselling.
The BCom (Hons) fees at RGSC, Barkachha and Mirzapur are under Paid Seat category. The students have to give their option/preference of location at the time of counselling. Admission is done as per the merit and the choice of the students. Given below is the minimum eligibility criteria:

Students are selected for admission in the UG course based on CUET scores. The exam conducting body releases the CUET UG dates on its official website. The BHU application process is online and candidates can apply through the official website of NTA. For application submission, the students need to pay an application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category). The steps to fill the online form are:
- Visit the website of CUET-UG (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the details.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select courses and Universities as per preference and pay the CUET application fee.

2: Selection & Counselling
The university shortlist students based on CUET scores. A cutoff score is decided based on which final selection is done. Selected candidates have to take part in counselling for seat allotment.
3: Admission Confirmation
After selection, the students can pay the admission fee amount to confirm seat. BHU BCom tuition fees is INR 1.29 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.

No, maths is not compulsory for admission to BCom in BHU. However, it is necessary that the candidate studied a subject related to commerce (Commerce/Economics/Maths/Computer Science/Finance/Financial Markets Management/Vocational Courses) in Class 12. Candidate further should hold the qualifying exam pass certificate for verification purposes as well or the application can be treated as invalid.
Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
Moreover, the student can be asked to submit an application regarding the reason for drop out. Sometimes even this is not required.
M.D. cutoff is based on NEET PG scores for admission to the MD and MS courses. NEET PG 2025 cut off has been reduced in comparision to last few year cut off. The cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam in that particular caregory. The tuition fee for MBA at Banaras Hindu University costs around INR 10,200 - INR 2.2 L. The fee differs according to the chosen specialisation. This fee excludes other components like exam fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc.

At Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the maximum age limit for admission to the B.Sc Nursing programme is 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year. For SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years, so the maximum age is 30 years.
