I am extremely satisfied with my faculty, course and infrastructure of the university.

Placements: Though the university doesn't provide placements for UG courses, the chances of getting a placement are not zero. Until and unless you've got a good academic record and excellent extracurricular activities. The highest package offered was around 35 LPA for MBA graduates.

Infrastructure: Banaras Hindu University is best known for its facilities, infrastructure and brand name in the market. The classes are well-equipped with smart classes, and the library has all the facilities a student needs to study and concentrate. The campus has a Wi-Fi facility for the students. The food being provided in the mess is good and hygienic, with 3 meals and evening snacks being provided occasionally. We have medical facilities being provided, considering we already have a hospital on campus itself.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and trained; they have full knowledge and experience in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant, keeping in mind the real-world challenges; it makes the students industry-ready to face and tackle real-world situations in the market. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If a student attends regular classes and studies regularly, they'll easily get a good CGPA. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I had a personal inclination towards commerce and finance. What I like the best about my course is how relevant it is and how it teaches me to apply the knowledge I learn in college to my job later or to real-world challenges rather than any other theoretical course or degree in which we merely learn and write up the answers. I wouldn't want any improvement in my course or curriculum; in my knowledge, it is the best. Our college has several events and fests, and there are various scholarships a student can apply for, including the UP scholarship and NSP scholarship.

Excellent university for all courses.

Placements: In B.Com (Hons), a few students got placements. As all top companies want to hire experienced students, and even students were not interested because their dreams were big, like studying CA, MBA courses. Therefore, students were not interested. But few people cracked the interviews.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Wi-Fi, lab, and smart classes were also available. In the hostel, Wi-Fi was provided. The library was too good, and there was a central library, and it was too big. All the books were provided there. The hostel mess was good, and the environment was also good. All seniors guided juniors.

Faculty: Teachers were very supportive and qualified. All the professors were highly qualified and had a huge amount of experience in their own field. During exam time, everyone is very serious, and professors also provided some extra notes, all this in a group. The quality of the exam hall was very good.

Other: In BHU, the crowd was very heavy in the evening. Their event and fest are also available. In the week, students' scholarships were also provided.

Good infrastructure and facilities for all students.

Placements: The placement is overall good. Many students got nice placements in big MNCs with a nice package. Top roles offered are manager, finance-related, executive roles, and consultant. The placement percentage is approximately 30%-40%. It also provides internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our faculty, as per our course, is so good. We have Wi-Fi facility, library, auditorium, and the classes have many space with a projector. Hostel facilities are also good. Quality food in the mess is available at a reasonable price. Everything is so good with greenery.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They teach you in detail. Professors are very humble, and they teach us both theoretical and practical. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes sure that students will be able to connect with real-world life. College exams are as per syllabus.

Other: I chose this course based on my interest. Everything goes as per the flow/ plan. But one thing I think should be changed is the crowd. There is a lot of crowd due to the temple at our university. All other things are nice.

University, campus life, hostel life, faculty, everything is perfect.

Placements: As we know, the college cannot provide placements to every student, but it places top students with decent packages. The average package is about 10 LPA, the highest is around 35 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. Various big institutions such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other IT companies, as well as the Big Four firms, also recruit from BHU. Many students also opt for professional courses like CA, CS, or CMA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility in BHU is praiseworthy. Hostels have various facilities such as 24/7 electricity and Wi-Fi, a common room, and a computer room where students can use computers for study. The environment is great with lots of greenery and flowers. Cleanliness is top-notch. The food quality is good as they do not make food in bulk. If a hostel has 300 students, then there will be 3 messes for 100 students each. This is how the messes are divided. BHU students get free medical facilities in the health center and Sir Sunderlal Hospital.

Faculty: Teachers at BHU are very knowledgeable and helpful; they teach us whatever topic we want to study. Professors also have Ph.D. scholars who sometimes take classes and learn teaching while teaching us, so it's a good experience studying from them. The course curriculum is relevant and very practical in approach. Semester exams are moderate, but they cover every chapter equally, and the pass percentage is also good.

Other: BHU campus is the largest in India, and the college has an open campus, so it has a large crowd. Lots of fests are organized at the university, and students with different interests can join different communities according to their interests. There are lots of dance communities, singing communities, debate societies, etc.

Review of Banaras Hindu University.

Placements: My course is FMM, which is a special course, and compared to B.Com (Hons), it provides better placement opportunities. B.Com also provides good placements. BHU is well-known, so good companies do come here first, and selections are made according to their criteria.

Infrastructure: Both the hostel and the campus have Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are good, and the library has many books that one wants. Hostels are also well-furnished. Water and electrical supply are available 24/7 there. The environment here in the hostel is cool. You will have your privacy.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful. At any hour of the day, you can contact them, and they will help you. Scholars of our age understand our problems more effectively and also help us with notes at the last moment. Exams are very easy. One can easily score a 9+ CGPA.

Beautiful campus and great college life.

Placements: Average placements are offered. Students get placed by various key companies and get a decent package according to their skills, and they are also recommended to better companies later. Seniors get good placements every year, and some of them get great packages.

Infrastructure: Our facilities has a great building which are quite old, but the way it is designed, along with the entrance gate featuring Goddess Devi, is the epitome of beauty. Facilities building has a ground floor and three additional floors, all equipped with good amenities.

Faculty: Regular examinations and screenings take place. Students are enrolled in various seminars to gather knowledge. The mid-semester and end-semester exams are conducted on time according to the scheduled timetable, and proper checking is ensured during examinations.

Amazing campus, with nearly all the facilities .

Placements: About 5-10%, the lowest package was 3 lakh per annum and the highest for UG level was 7 lakh per annum. The top hiring companies included Mahindra, HDFC Financial Services, and others. There are 10-15% internships that are primarily in finance and advertising agencies. Employees of the company, including senior officers, are based on work experience.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, including the classrooms, seating, projector facilities, and course quality. The entire campus has Wi-Fi and features a faculty library, as well as a central and cyber library. It’s much cheaper to live in the hostel than outside, and the meals provided by the mess are above average, although hostel residents often prefer to eat outside.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and possess a vast amount of knowledge. Some teachers excel in their teaching, while others only fulfill the basic requirements. The course curriculum is very relevant, but I believe that students will not be industry-ready after completing it; they need to learn soft skills, which are not included in the program. The semester exams are quite easy, and students can score a 9 CGPA if they prepare well. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: Since I chose this stream, I had to select this course. The best aspect is that it provides knowledge of all the basic things necessary for future careers. There should be a student exchange program, as well as some soft skills training and real-life practical programs to enhance skills. Events, scholarships, crowd engagement, and connectivity are extensive, ensuring that one never feels their money is wasted.

Dissatisfied with teachers' recklessness. Infrastructure is good, but no guarantee for placement.

Placements: There is no guarantee for placement after completion of the course, as there is no campus placement. For internships, students have to rely on their own, though the department offers opportunities to participate in different student clubs to hone our practical skills.

Infrastructure: The building of the commerce department is nice and spacious with proper ventilation. There are toilets on every floor and availability of drinking water. There is also a small library in the building. The hostel is not provided to the department students enrolled in 2024 because the hostel building is under construction.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but they don't seem to care about students' convenience at all because they frequently cancel classes even after the scheduled time. The level of semester exams is slightly above average, and one can easily excel in exams even studying on their own.
