    The Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: The university is good for studying, but in my course, the placement scene is rare. It has decent placements in institutes like IIT and IMS. So placement seen is good in these facilities. But in the reality, the placement is not that good. It has placement in foreign languages, tourism, etc. Overall, the placement is above average.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also very nice. Students reside in a low number and get good facilities. The infrastructure of the hostel is also nice.
Faculty: The professors are highly knowledgeable and help students gain extra knowledge regarding subjects. Most professors had earned a PhD and completed their doctoral degrees. The question pattern is moderate, one has to get 33% marks to pass in the exam. As this university provides a bundle of subjects, there is no doubt that it has a variety of subjects to study so that one can achieve their aims.
Other: I chose this linguistics course because I want to explore more about language. Event organisation are also good here.

The best campus life one can experience.
Placements: I am doing a Master's in linguistics, which is as interesting as it sounds. My course offers many kinds of jobs, but students mostly prefer to take net exams to qualify and become professors, for which BHU also provides Ph.D. in various subjects. One must consider taking admission in BHU.
Infrastructure: BHU Wi-Fi, although it doesn't work everywhere, is quite good. The buildings get renovated very often. The central library is the main attraction for students with numerous books and information about almost everything, in a peaceful environment. You can find every facility from the hospital to the canteen to the library.
Faculty: The semester exams are too easy, and the syllabus is also good. They don't pressure the students much. It's just that they don't alert the students beforehand. Other than that, the dates of exams are also well planned. Professors give presentations and make the students industry-ready.

    Review of Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: When it comes to placements for M.A. English students, the situation is quite different from professional courses like engineering or management. We don't have a large list of companies visiting campus for recruitment drives. University Career Cell does a good job of organizing workshops on resume building and interview skills. They sometimes share information about off-campus opportunities in fields like content writing, publishing, and public relations. The majority of us are not relying on campus placements. We are more focused on carving our own path.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good at M.A. English department. It supports our academic needs. Classrooms are well-maintained. They are equipped with projectors and comfortable seating. It is essential for our long lecture hours and discussions. The department also has a dedicated seminar hall where we conduct guest lectures, literary events, and student presentations. Campus has good Wi-Fi. This is a lifesaver for our constant need to access online resources. As for other facilities, hostels are decent. They provide a quiet place to study. Food is simple but manageable. Campus environment is very conducive to learning.
Faculty: Faculty members in the M.A. English department are the real backbone of our course. They are not just teachers but true mentors. They are passionate about their subjects. Professors are very approachable. They encourage us to think critically and express our own opinions. They don't just lecture, they engage us. Curriculum is well-structured. They cover a wide range of literary periods and genres, from classical works to contemporary theories. Exams are challenging but fair. They require you to understanding of the text. They are always available to help with our doubts, whether it's about a complex theory or guidance of thesis.
Other: Everything is great, and I love this college.

Best college in country with best infrastructure.
Placements: Social work and NGO placement everywhere is best and placement criteria are best. Also, name and fame of our placement sector. Most absolutely our state and country are the best colleges because the faculty members other colleges. It has most reputed placement cell.
Infrastructure: Best infrastructure, labs, library, and Wi-Fi are excellent. It has best department. Also known as the best facility. Our college produced the campus and 24 into 7 library facilities and Wi-Fi facility such a huge and connect the people best product facility members.
Faculty: Best knowledge and our professors are well qualified. They also have Ph.D. scholars. Teachers are well-connected with students and have friendly behaviour. They must provide the teaching and experience that is the best at the college. Faculty members are well-developed and best. National and international seminars are held.

Dissatisfied because of the department, but really good infrastructure and facilities, etc.
Placements: I haven't seen any placements in History of Art yet. It is an average subject. There are no provisions for placement in the subject History of Art. No top recruiting companies for my course. As far as I know, only 10% of the students did internships in the History of Art field. The top role offered in the History of Art course is assistant professor.
Infrastructure: The Faculty of History of Art is quite good. There are fewer seats in the hostels, but the mess here is quite good and affordable. The Wi-Fi facility in the department is quite good, not only in the department but also in the entire college campus. There is also a computer lab here, and the faculty members are quite good. There is a very big library in the college called the central library, but along with the central library, the department also has its own library, which is in the department itself. The facilities of the hostel are quite good and excellent, but there are fewer seats in the hostel, making it a bit difficult for anyone to get a hostel. The quality of food in the hostel mess is good, and cooks pay great attention to cleanliness. Every faculty has its own canteen, where food is available at a very affordable price. Medical facilities are provided to the students quite well. There is a health center in the university where students can come and get treatment for any illness. Apart from this, BHU students can avail privileges at Shyam Under Hospital by using their student ID card. In addition, the university provides facilities for sports, gym, games, NCC, NSS, etc.
Faculty: The teachers of History of Art are very knowledgeable and experienced, and their teaching skills are also very unique. The professors are quite supportive. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. A semester system is followed for exams in the university. If your course is of 2 years, then you will have to give 4 semesters for it. The semester exam is not difficult. The passing percentage in History of Art is 80-90%.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it gives you detailed information about the art of not only India but also abroad, about their origin and expansion. This helps us understand art and civilization's thought easily. There is a need for improvement in placement in this course and for giving some knowledge to students about the scope in this field. Many events and cultural programs keep happening on the campus. The campus has very good connectivity to the market, hospital, and station.

Absolutely loved my journey because of the faculty and great improvements in me.
Placements: There were around 300 students in my batch 2019-21. Almost 170 of us have qualified for UGC-NET, and 100 out of 170 have qualified for JRF as well. People who aspired to do a PhD are doing the same today. They passed the selection process. Some of us also have become permanent assistant professors, and some are working as guest lecturers. Even our juniors are doing so well.
Infrastructure: Our central library is one of the largest libraries in India, Sayajirao Gaikawad Central Library. And hostels are available as double-seater rooms. No single rooms are allotted in arts departments. Facilities and canteens are top-notch. It's available on Google Search as well. You can see for a crosscheck.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They enhance critical thinking abilities through lectures, projects, and exams. There are question papers with 70 marks in external exams; 60 marks out of 70 are for subjective answers. It shows their encouragement for critical thinking enhancement.
Other: I chose this course because I always have been interested in being an assistant professor of English literature. There are always some lecture programs and scholarly events happening in the Manviya Moolya Anusheelan Kendra, which is a part of our faculty. Moreover, there is a theatre group called Rangshala, which is actively engaged in theatrical activities. Sanskriti and Spain are well-known cultural festivals exploring various events. Sport festivals are top-notch.
