BHU UET counselling process is carried out completely in online mode. Candidates can register for the counselling by following below-mentioned steps:

STEP 1: Candidates need to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the online counselling procedure. To create login credentials, candidates have to provide their NTA application number, and other details along with email ID and create a password to activate the registration account.

STEP 2: Login by entering the Email ID and password and start filling out the application form and upload the required documents. The documents to be uploaded (PDF/JPEG format) are:

• Matriculation or its equivalent certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• BHU employee certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate if admission under sports quota is claimed
• Scanned copy of a recent colour photograph & signature

STEP 4: After fee payment, preference entry page opens. Candidates can fill in their preferences separately for all the programmes in this form. Seat allotment result is then announced by the university.

BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below: 

1. The BHU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.
2. Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
3. After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
4. Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.

BHU tuition fee costs around INR 1200 - INR 10 L. The fee is exclusive of other components including Application Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit, Hostel Fee, etc. The fee is taken from the official website. It is subject to change. Candidates should check the website before applying.

Banaras Hindu University CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for various postgraduate courses. As per the first round, the cutoff scores ranged between 5 and 650 for the General AI category students. The most competitive course was M.P.A. in Dance (Kathak). BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 has been announced for admission across multiple specialisations including MA, MSc, MCA, MTTM, LLM,  and MBA. In CUET PG 2025, the overall closing score in the General category stood between 20 and 699. Wherein, the toughest and the easiest course among all the courses are MPA in Vocal Music (Hindustani) and MA in Persian due to high and low score, respectively.

BHU has a dediacted placement cell which invites prominent companies for the placement drives. During the Banaras Hindu University 2025 placement drive, more than 65 companies participated. BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams.
