Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
Moreover, the student can be asked to submit an application regarding the reason for drop out. Sometimes even this is not required.
Yes, Banaras Hindu University accept CUET score for multiple UG courses, including BA (Hons), BCom (Hons) BSc (Hons), etc. The university is also offering admission to its PG courses based on merit in CUET-PG. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can register on the BHU admission portal for counselling. Banaras Hindu University cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to UG and PG courses. As per round 4 of the CUET UG BHU cut off 2025, the cutoff scores ranged between 94 and 628.46 for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology for the General category All India quota candidates. So, considering the BHU latest round cutoff, a cutoff score of 200 is sufficient to get a seat in some courses at BHU.

The total BHU BTech course fee is cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit, registration fee, etc. BHU BTech fees range between INR 37,320 and INR 10 lakh.
