BIT Mesra MSc admission is entrance-based. Candidates can apply for the PG course with a valid score of IIT JAM/CUET. It is also crucial that the aspirant meets the eligibility requirement, which is BSc degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST category candidates). BIT Mesra allot seats to the applicants based on their scores in the accepted examinations. There are over 100 seats for the integrated MSc programmes at the institute. The seat intake varies for each of the course specialisation. In addition, the maximum number of seats are available for the integrated MSc in Mathematics and Computing course, i.e., 77. There are 37 seats each for Physics and Quantitative Economics and Data Science course.
