Forensic Science course outlook in Chandigarh University.
Placements: There are a total of 54 students. The highest package offered in our course is 6 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Many private forensic Science labs recruit students, but there are still fewer private opportunities. The internship is done by the students themselves NIT is provided by the university. After doing M.Sc. in forensic science, we can become an assistant scientific officer in the labs.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have a good Wi-Fi facility, there are 4 AC vents in the class, and projectors are present. The library is present on the 6 th floor of the department where one can go and study properly. There is a dispensary on the campus where medical facilities are provided. As I'm a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are PhD holders with 8 to 10 years of experience and they are intellectual and supportive. The semester exams are good if you study well, you will excel in the exams as well. There are 4 semesters in this course, and at the end of the 4th semester, we have to submit a thesis as well.
Other: This course provides you with an insightful experience related to crime and how we can help the court to assist in providing justice. The fee for the course in CU is Rs. 80,000, but if you have marks greater than 7.5 with 75 percent attendance, then you will also get scholarships.

Placements: CU had a 70-80%. Overall placement rate for M.Sc Botany placements were medium. It was 40 to 60%. Many students were opting higher studies. The highest package was 8 LPA. The average package was 5 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies ICAR, CSIR, and government bodies. Pharmaceutical firms such as Biocon, Syngene, and Panacea Biotec. Internships included CSIR, ICAR, TERI, and WWF India. Top roles in Research Analyst, Plant Taxonomist, and Environment Consultant.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi was available across academic blocks and hostels. Advanced research laboratories were equipped for plant tissue culture, cytogenetics, and mycology. CU encouraged interdisciplinary research collaborations, enhancing employability. Semester exams were moderate. The passing percentage was generally above 85%.
Other: I was passionate about plant sciences, biodiversity, and ecological sustainability. Events included CU Fest, Freshmen 2.0, and Aaghaaz. The surroundings and infrastructure were the best.

Placements: About 35% of students are placed in this course. Student who got the highest package in my course is 11 LPA, and lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Abbott, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, and Cadila Pharmaceuticals. Almost all students got an internship at these companies. Top roles offered are agriculture, medicine, and environmental conservation field.
Infrastructure: The area of college is approximately 15 acres, and this area is well organised. Infrastructure is developed and covered with Wi-Fi lanes. Classrooms are covered with smart screens. Library is also covered with Wi-Fi. Hostel provides a gym, library, and a good food facility. Campus also provides medical facilities and organizes sports meets.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Campus provides good teaching facilities. College curriculum conducts sessional and semester exams. Curriculum makes the students ready for industry work. Semester exams are not very difficult, and passing criteria are to score 40% in each subject.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to develop my skills in the field of agriculture and environment. The best thing about this course is that it gives you the courage to explore the unexplored things. Campus organises fests and extracurricular activities. Placements: Our university is excellent in facilitating numerous placement opportunities for its students. The placement record is so good with approximately 85% of our students being placed in many reputed companies. The top equators of our university are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many more, nearby around 105 + companies visited to give placement to our university students. The highest package of our University is 9 LPA and other side the lowest package offered University is 4 LPA, I think this was a decent package.
Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure and facilities are so good. We get a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Every need of students is already fulfilled. Labs and libraries are also available at this university. Classrooms are properly tidy and clean. The hostel facility is based in our university, in a room where you get a B.Ed study table and chair from the university. The mess food is delicious.
Faculty: Faculty members are so experienced and friendly. There are 12 faculty members to solve every student's doubts, and their teaching method is very good. Faculty members cover every topic very easily. This course exams are not easy, but the faculty members' hard work enables a student to pass the exam easily. The pass percentage record is 90%.
