Absolutely satisfied because of good placement, worth every penny.
Placements: All students were placed in the last year. This year it is very good. Reliance, L&T, and major companies have already recruited, but Gail hasn't come for recruitment until now. The highest package is 22 LPA, while 7.5 LPA or more is the average. This year, 19 third-year students got internships at the Reliance refinery in Gujarat. In many cases, the companies that gave internships will recruit them. Many roles are given to students. If you don't have any supplies in the exam, you will get an internship and placement.
Infrastructure: The library is good, and basic amenities are provided. First and second-year students have to take private PG hostel rooms, as the college doesn't provide them. Only a few long-distance students were given the hostel. There's a good canteen and sports facilities, but medical facilities are low and no pharmacy is provided by the college.
Faculty: There are fewer responsible teachers, and the management system is not very good. The curriculum is good. If the students put in some effort beyond the syllabus, it will be a huge benefit to stand out and make them industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and if students are willing to put in effort for the exams, they will surely pass.
Other: Events and fests are moderate. There are good placements if you are disciplined and ready to take responsibility. Safety and fire engineering is the best choice.

Good college with decent placements, supportive faculty, and nice campus life.
Placements: Placements in the college are decent and improve every year. Many students get opportunities through campus drives. Top recruiting companies visit for different courses. The average package is good for freshers. Some students also get better offers based on skills. Internship opportunities are also available for interested students. The placement cell supports students with training, aptitude classes, and interview preparation. Overall, placements are satisfactory for students who study seriously and improve communication skills.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, labs, library, and Wi-Fi. Laboratories are useful for practical learning, and equipment is maintained properly. The library has enough books for academics and competitive exams. Hostel facilities are average to good with clean rooms and proper security. Mess food is manageable, and the canteen provides extra options. The campus is clean and peaceful. Sports grounds and other activity areas are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and experienced in their subjects. Most teachers are supportive and clear doubts whenever needed. Teaching quality is good, and classes are conducted regularly. The curriculum is relevant and gives proper knowledge about the course. Exams are moderate level, and students who attend classes and study regularly can pass easily. Internal exams, assignments, and practicals help students prepare well for semester exams. Overall, academics are satisfactory.
Other: I chose this college because it offers good education with affordable fees. The best things are supportive teachers, a decent campus atmosphere, and value for money. The college conducts events, cultural programs, and sports activities regularly. Connectivity to the campus is also convenient with transport facilities nearby. Scholarships are available for eligible students. Overall, it is a good college for students who want quality education and a balanced college life.

Other than the contact faculty members, everything is good.
Placements: In B.Tech safety and fire engineering last year, we had about a 100% placement rate, with the highest package being 22 LPA offered by Gail India Pvt Ltd, a median of 7 LPA, and most of the students were placed in the Adani group of construction. The top roles we get after these courses are safety and fire officer and safety design engineer. Cairn Oil and Gas has provided paid internships to multiple students last year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is basic, nothing more than that. The Wi-Fi is good. Labs are also good, and we do have a great university library and okayish classrooms. The hostels are mostly well-kept, and the mess food is awesome. There is a dedicated sports arena for those who are interested in them.
Faculty: The permanent faculty members are really good and knowledgeable, but the contract faculty members are not so much. The curriculum of the course is relevant to the industry. The exams are quite easy to pass, and quite hard to get good marks. The most permanent faculty members are well qualified with published research papers, and all but the contract faculty members are just postgraduate passouts.

A places that need more improvement.
Placements: B.Tech Safety and Fire Engineering has 100% placements over the years. The average package is around 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include IOCL, GAIL, and Reliance, etc. Students get opportunities to do internships in big companies. The main roles offered are Safety Officer and Safety Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of certain classrooms can be improved. Wi-Fi is available in the library. There is a big library with many books related to studies. University hostels are available, and for those who do not get them, private hostels are available nearby. The food quality is okay.
Faculty: There is a shortage of permanent faculty members currently. The available faculty members are well qualified and helpful. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, but I heard from my seniors, it does not fully make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate with a good pass percentage.

It is the best course for students if they are looking for placements.
Placements: B.Tech. in Safety and Fire Engineering in CUSAT has a 100% placements for the past few years. If we don't have an active backlog during our final year, it is almost certain that we will be placed in reputed companies like BPCL IOCL, GAIL, L&T, Adani Group, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and lab facilities are average. Only students from the SC and ST categories will get a university hostel during the first year. Later on, hostel allotment will be provided based on the distance of our hometown from the college. The hostel experience is average, considering cleanliness and infrastructure aspects. But the hostel fee is Rs. 500 only, which is less compared to the rent if we are staying in a PG or flat.
Faculty: Our college has supportive faculty members and a good course curriculum. The course is less technical in nature and comparatively easier than other engineering branches. It has only a few permanent faculty members. Most are temporary assistant professors, but they teach well. Exams are also not that tough except few subjects. Most of the subjects are theory and not problem-solving type.
Other: CUSAT, Kochi campus is very vibrant and good. It is situated in the heart of the city. So it will be a great campus experience. B.Tech. in Safety and Fire Engineering is one of the best courses in CUSAT, with NAAC A+ and NBA tier 1 accreditation.

School of Engineering provides high-quality education in major engineering.
Placements: Around 100% of placements are ensured by safety and fire department. If a student has no active backlogs, they will surely be placed. Top companies are GAIL (Gas Authority India Limited), CAIRN, Alstom, L&T, Reliance, Tata, Indian Oil, ONGC, etc. The average salary package offered is around 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel accommodation for around 600 male and 700 female students is available for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students. Main campus has Sanathana, Siberia, Sarovar, and Post metric hostels for boys and men's hostels. Aiswarya, Athulya, Anaswara, and post metric hostels for girls and ladies' hostels. OBC has post metric hostel for girls and ladies' hostel. Lakeside campus has Cochin University Marine Science campus hostel and men's hostel. Campus cafe is open from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM on all working days including Saturday. A wide variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes are available. During lunch time meals are available at very nominal rates. Library has a special collections section which is one of the best in India. Truly a treasure house of doctoral like patents, WHO, and other UNO documents, census reports, art books, Vikasana Rekha (Development Reports), and books on library and information science.
Other: The initiative undertaken in this regard by CUSAT is a classic instance of how nature's beautiful resources can be put to optimum use to tackle water scarcity. In 2012, CUSAT campus faced water crisis and had to rely on tankers to meet its water requirements. The issue prompted this university to look for solutions. Later, a decision was taken to construct a pond on campus. Ever since the pond - constructed by the Engineering Department of this university - became a reality, water shortage became a thing of the past.

CUSAT is among Kerala's best, with great campus life and academics.
Placements: Placement opportunities are very high in this university. B. Tech Safety and Fire, Naval Architecture, and Shipbuilding have 100% placement in the last years. In other courses also, they are providing high-package jobs. Several public sector undertakings are also coming for placements to pick students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also great. According to the allowance, most of the students get their hostels at a very low cost. Under their admission, other students can also get the hostel at a very low cost as guests. Drinking water facilities like hot and cold water are also available readily there. The freedom that we get in the hostels is really good compared to any other hostel in Kerala. Parking facilities for student vehicles are also there. The classrooms are smart rooms, including smart class boards, TVs, projectors, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are really good. They are very supportive during the placement drive and in project and seminar presentations. Teachers are also supportive in giving previous questions for all students, especially for the students who are writing supplementary exams. Most of the professors here right now are experienced in many industries, so they give us practical ideas about what we are studying. And the professors here have many connections with people in those industries. So it is easier for us students and placement coordinators to connect with the company for campus placement drives.
Other: I chose this course because I have a big opportunity in this section in my career. And the package provided by this course is very big compared to any other college in Kerala. I also have a big opportunity for learning and developing extracurricular activities. You can easily participate in any sports and tech events and contribute.

College is very nice and it is a good university.
Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed in Safety and fire engineering in this year. The highest salary package offered is 22 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Indian Oil, L&T, and Gail are the top recruiting companies of our course. Around 95% of students get internships in Adani, Cairin, and L&T companies. Safety engineer, safety officer, fire officer, fire engineer, etc. are some top roles in our course.
Infrastructure: There are top labs and modified buildings. We have perfect library with three floors. Hostel is good enough to live with quality water and 24-hour electricity. College is part of university, therefore, college has good medical department and nice college restaurant and canteen. College is very good in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers explain classes very well. Faculty members are very experienced. Teachers hold M.Tech and PhD qualifications. Syllabus is very interesting to study CUSAT syllabus are little different from other university. Pass percentage is above 90%. Most of the students are passed.
Other: I chose this course to get placements and it is very unique. This course makes me matured person. Campus is very vibrant with many programmes like sports and arts.
