Delhi University Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate, After 10th Courses

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme's eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following points:

• Course-Specific merit
• Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
• Seat Intake
• Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by CSAS or University of Delhi

University of Delhi BBA admission is through CUET exam. Candidates who meet course eligibility need to appear for this NTA exam to get a seat. There may not be any other provision for admission. Students who pass CUET need to register for DU CSAS for seat allotment. The complete process is carried out in online mode.

Delhi University BBA tuition fee range INR 540 to INR 1.1 lakh. The total fee is from INR 1.73 lakh to 3.57 lakh.

Delhi University offers full-time MA in multiple specialisations from a number of DU-affiliated colleges. The duration of the programme is two years. Since the past 3 years, DU admission to all the PG courses will be subject to CUET PG scores seat allotment. Candidates who qualify for the exam have to apply on the official website for final seat allotment.

Delhi University offers BBA equivalent Finance and Management courses. These courses are of three year duration. The UG course is offered by selected DU colleges. Mentioned belwo are available courses:

• Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE) by College of Vocational Studies

• Delhi University, Delhi has been ranked 5th by the NIRF Ranking 2025 under the 'University' category.
• The Delhi University placements 2026 are still ongoing. However, some colleges have released its placement details recorded in 2026. In the phase 1 of its placements SRCC placed 1,095 students. 
• As of now the the highest & average package offered during SRCC placements 2026 was INR 36.25 LPA & INR 13.79 LPA,  respectively.
• DU has established strategic ties with universities across the globe, like the University of Leeds in the UK, etc. 

Faculty of Law,  University of Delhi is considered among the premier institutes in the country for law programmes. The institute was ranked 9 among all Law Institutes in India by NIRF in 2025. It also attained rank 7 by IIRF in 2025.

As per external sources, Shivaji College ranked 70 for 2023. Additionally, the college offers nine BSc course. Companies such as ICICI Prudential, Wipro Ltd, Zomato, Planet Spart and Deloitte, among others visited the campus during the placement drive 2022.

Fee refund policy of Faculty of Law, DU is as follows:

• If a student withdraws admission before the last date of admission, full refund of fee with a deduction of INR 5,000 is given to the student. Refunds are initiated after admissions close and processed within 3 months to the original payment source.
• No refunds are given for withdrawals made after the last date. 
• Admission Fee is not refunded if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage.
• Registration fee and withdrawal fee are non-refundable in any case.

Delhi University MA admission till 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and Through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds are also conducted for admission to Delhi University MA programme. There is no minimum age limit to take admission to the MA programme offered by the university. However, DU PG admission 2022-23 was subject to a valid score in DUET as announced by the University. Starting 2023, the admission process of DU for its postgraduate courses, such as MA will be subject to the CUET-PG exam conducted by NTA. 

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU. 

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).
