Our college PGDAV is in the University of Delhi.
Placements: PGDAV College is a good college of the University of Delhi. In this college, the placement rate is 70 to 80 percent. Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Zomato, Wipro, and Amazon are coming for placement. Fewer students get internships in big companies, students intern in banks.
Infrastructure: In PGDAV College, there are many facilities and good infrastructure, but there are network problems in some places, and Wi-Fi does not work well. There are many sports and games available in this college, and the canteen food is average, and the food rate is cheap, which most students can afford.
Faculty: In this college, the study is good, and the professors are good and helpful. The semester exam is average, but the semester exam routine is so bad 2 core subjects are on the same date in my course. Because of this problem, students are not focused on one subject for the exam at a time.
Other: I chose this course because in this course, there are three core subjects Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. In the future, I will get an honors degree in any of the three according to our interests.

It's beautiful and worth it if you are getting South Campus.
Placements: 68.9 percent of students get placed in this course. It's completely upon the students to opt for placement or to pursue further studies. It offers placement in various ministries and with many government-certified institutions and NGOs, and all of them are paid internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure provided by the college is good, but it can be improved, and the college is working on that. A new auditorium is under construction. The college is undertaking maintenance, and the canteen is also good; however, the hostel is not available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is really very helpful. They provide us with helpful information, suggest books to read, and also tell us how to research for assignments, giving a vast overview of the concepts. The teachers take our tests and give us assignments to test our knowledge.
Other: The crowd is good, and everything in the college is really very beautiful. The only things that need improvement are the hostel provision, and the canteen food is amazing and known among students in South Campus.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2027
Offered by Jesus and Mary College ,University of Delhi

English faculty is the coolest.
Placements: Jesus and Mary College (JMC), DU, is considered above average in placements but not among the absolute top placement colleges like SRCC, Hansraj, or SSCBS. Its strongest offers generally come from sectors like consulting, marketing, finance, and teaching, with companies such as Deloitte, EY, KPMG, McKinsey, and a mix of startups visiting annually.
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure of JMC is one of the best in the entire South Campus. The library is three floors and has a very comfortable study environment. The only problem is that this college does not provide any hostel, which is kind of a hassle for outstation students.
Faculty: The English faculty is one of the best in the entire college, and the professors are indeed very helpful and qualified enough. The English Honours curriculum at DU is rich but dense, covering everything from classical literature to modern theory, which can feel overwhelming without consistent reading. Exams are content-heavy and analytical, expecting you to connect text, context, and criticism rather than just narrate lots. Overall, it's rewarding but demanding, best suited for students who genuinely enjoy reading and writing.
Other: When I first entered the college, I am little unsure about my choice. Taking English (Hons.) as a degree didn’t sound satisfying enough to my family either. I do like literature a lot, but what set me back in my 1st year was the competitive environment and self-doubt. Although it did take time for me to overcome this by reading and writing consistently, now I have realised that this was the best choice of my life! Half of the credit goes to the professors since they really put a lot of effort into teaching, plus they are very proficient ATIT too.

Overall, it is a good college if you are serious about your goal.
Placements: I don’t have knowledge about that because I am a first-year student. Even I don’t have knowledge about the companies. Few students get internships. I am not aware about the courses offered. When I get to know about that, I will again fill this. My senior who passed from this college said that you will have to do hard work to get placed in this college because it is an off-campus college.
Infrastructure: Everything is good till now; we have not faced any problem. I don’t think we have good medical facilities, and also they don’t have much equipment for sports. In the canteen, they need to focus more. Infrastructure is also good, but they have problems with washrooms, they are very dirty and very small in size. Such things need to be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The curriculum is also relevant, and everything is going smooth. The pass percentage is 33.33 percent. No, I don’t think they are preparing us for a high level or industry level. Teachers are also qualified, and a few teachers are from IIT as well. Some teachers have very good teaching skills, and a few need to improve.
Other: My love for Physics and electrical things dragged me here for this course, and the best thing about my course is that we have to do most things on software. Other things are also good. Connectivity is very good as I take the metro. They don’t have many extra-curricular activities. Campus crowd is also good. They organize events regularly, which is a good thing.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Home Science - Batch of 2029
Offered by Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi

Supportive women's college in DU with excellent labs, strong faculty, and active activities.
Placements: We actually have five departments in B.Sc. Honours Home Science includes the communication department, the fashion department, the food science department, the resource management department, and the human development department. From my point of view, and the information that I have received from the seniors' communication department, it has very good placements in various sectors. The average salary offered is Rs. 85, 000 per month, which is a very good amount for a fresher to earn.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure. I think the campus is spread over around 16.5 acres, and it includes both red buildings and modern facilities. If I talk about the academic infrastructure, then it has numerous classrooms, many of which are good with LCD projectors, Wi-Fi, and their septic classrooms for both UG and PG courses with several dedicated seminar rooms. We also have laboratories that are well-equipped with facilities for practical learning and research. It includes the specialized labs for all 5 departments.
Faculty: The home Science program at Lady Irwin College has faculty members who are highly qualified with M.Sc. or PhD degrees. They have extensive experience from the college itself. They are very helpful, and their teaching is great. If we have any doubt, we can ask them several times, and they will answer us very patiently and very calmly. The examination pattern follows the DU semester system, with final exams held typically in November or December for the odd semesters and May or June for the even semesters.
Other: The crowd at college is generally supportive, non-competitive, and friendly, with a strong focus on both academic and extracurricular activities. It is basically a woman's college that shapes the social dynamics and environment. Students are typically motivated towards subjects like home science, food tech, and nutrition education. Some students are highly ambitious, but others find the environment to be more relaxed. Many students pursue higher studies like B.Ed., M.Sc., or MBA after graduation. College life is often related to highly emphasizing a blend of academic and extracurricular engagement on a beautiful campus.

I have a love-hate relationship with the campus life in DRC.
Placements: There are good placements for students with a higher CGP and further experience in internships. The ones who possess good skills, including technical skills, soft skills, and both interpersonal and inter-personal skills, get placed with the help of the college's placement cell.
Infrastructure: Rooms are not that spacious, but still accommodate the overall strength of the class size. It should have been better with proper benches and tables, as the present ones are quite outdated. Proper whiteboards, along with a projector for PPTs, should have been there.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-educated and teach well in classrooms. The course curriculum is good, and it offers students a lot of different job options in the future. Semester exams are of a difficult level, and they often differ from one course to another. For our course, I would rate it 6 out of 10.
Other: I always had a keen interest in Economics. My interest in logical subjects over theoretical subjects made me choose this course. Things that could be better about this course were that it should be more based on real-life projects than merely studying, just from our books, based on those old patterns.
