IPU BCA 2024 admission is open. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU or IPU) offers a BCA programme in full-time mode at the undergraduate level. The course is spread across six semesters. In some of the affiliated colleges of GGSIPU, BCA is also offered in the second (evening) shift. In Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, better known as IPU or GGSIPU, there’s a 75 per cent reservation for Delhi students. Delhi students are those students who have completed their Class 12 from a school which is in Delhi. The remaining 25 per cent seats are for students from all over India. So, Delhi general refers to those students who passed their school from Delhi but are in the General category while All India general refers to the students who have passed their school from anywhere but Delhi and are from the General category.
GGSIPU does not allow any of the affiliated colleges/institutes/agencies to grant direct admission to BCA courses. Hence, the university is not responsible for any amount deposited or paid by the candidate directly to the affiliated colleges/institutes of GGSIPU. IPU BCA admission is completely entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the IPU CET/CUET. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores further have to participate in the university counselling for seat allotment.
The IPU CET exam dates are announced by the exam conducting authority. The CET exam will be conducted for various courses from April 2026 to May 2026.
Yes, GGSIPU accepts CUET scores. For UG courses, CUET-UG and similarly for the PG courses, CUET-PG is applicable. However, it must be noted that preference is given to CUET scores after the respective national-level exams and the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Some of the UG and PG programmes for which this entrance score is accepted are MCA, MA, BSc, BBA and allied programmes, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc.
The average package offered during IPU USICT placements 2024 stood at INR 7.2 LPA. Further, a declining trend was witnessed in the average package offered over the past three years, which is presented below:

To get IPU (main campus- USLLS and VIPS) you need to have a total score of atleast 470 out of 650. And admission in IPU through cuet happens only after the CLAT rounds are over, so you must wait till the spot rounds.
