IPU BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2026
IPU BSc is a full-time programme offered across five specialisations. The University also offers a BSc (Hons) Nursing programme for unmarried female candidates and is of four years duration. Also, while BSc Yoga, MLT, MIT and MTR programmes are offered for three years, BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) is a two-year programme.
Admission to BSc (Hons) Nursing is carried out via NEET UG. However, the seat allotment process for both BSc/ BSc (Hons) programmes to the affiliated colleges of GGSIPU is carried out via CUET/ IPU CET Counselling as per the preferences of candidates. To check the GGSIPU round 1 result, students can reach the official site & apply for the available UG/PG programmes. Below mentioned are the steps to check the IP University result:
1: Reach the IP University Delhi site.
2: Under the ‘Result’ tab, select the respective test from the menu & click on the ‘Examination Result’
3: Go to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Login window & then select the GGSIPU Delhi programme/course & click on it.
4: Save the GGSIPU PDF appearing on the fron screen
A notification regarding the counselling process through CUET is released when vacant seats are left after all rounds of counselling. Based on details mentioned in the IPU brochure, the IPU CUET counselling procedure could be in the following manner:
STEP 1: Counselling Registeration
Candidates have to register (could be online/offline) for counselling. Details such as the aspirant name, programme code and other details have to be provided during registration. The registration fee is INR 1,500.
STEP 2: Login & Enrol
Login with the ID and password generated during registration to fill out the application. The IPU counselling processing fee is INR 1,000, which has to be paid during the enrolment for participation in the counselling procedure after registration. Fill in the details as asked and take a printout of the form and fee receipt. Document verification is carried out in online mode based on information provided by the candidate during enrolment.
STEP 3: Choice Filling/Preference Sheet
The preference sheet is available on the GGSIPU brochure. For online mode, candidates will have to visit the university's official website. It must be noted that the preference sheet is valid for only one counselling round. Hence, for each round, a new preference sheet must be filled out for each counselling round.
STEP 4: Seat Allocation
After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region. Candidates can be asked to freeze the seat by paying a sum of fee.
IPU BSc Cutoff
Candidates must meet the university cutoff mark to become eligible for the course admission. The GGSIPU cutoff list is released for each course admission. Aspirants who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for admission. The university may accept NEET scores for admission to the BSc nursing courses. In 2023, the last round closing rank for BSc (Hons) Nursing was 64302 for the General-All India category. GGSIPU is a government university. GGSIPU is a UGC approved university. Being a government university, the fee for various courses is not very high. The tuition fee for UG/ PG courses like BTech is INR 2.3L - INR 7.4L & M.Tech is INR 1.9 L - INR 2.8 L.

GGSIPU has all the qualities of a tier 1 university. The university placements are good. Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and CloudTechner recently offered placement packages to the AI & ML & AI-DS students. The infra of the university is also good. The classrooms are embedded with the latest & modern

BTech tuition fees at GGSIPU is INR 7.6 Lacs for all BTech courses in the academic year 2026. However, candidates are also required to pay other fees in the form of university charges, alumni deposit, development and infrastructure fees and others on top of the aforementioned tuition fees.

If the candidates are applying for BTech courses other than BTech in Biotechnology, then the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU admission. For BTech in Biotechnology admission, candidates need to appear in either the IPU CET or CUET-UG.
