IIT Delhi Cutoff 2025: Check JEE Advanced Round Wise Closing Ranks

IIT Delhi cutoff 2025 for BTech admission has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for different categories of students belonging to the AI quota. During Round 1, the BTech admission cutoffs were between 125 and 5608, with CSE being the most competitive specialisation for admission. IIT Delhi offers MBA admission on the basis of candidates' performace in CAT exam. The Cutoff is released in the form of percentile. The institute offers MBA course via its Department of Management Studies (DMS IIT Delhi). DMS IIT Delhi releases two types of CAT cutoffs, namely the qualifying CAT cutoff and the final CAT cutoff. For students belonging to the SC AI quota, a cutoff rank between 260 and 1478 is considered to be a safe rank for MSc admission at IIT Delhi. The better (lower) your rank, the higher is the probability of securing a seat at IIT Delhi for MSc. IIT Delhi accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by counselling rounds for MSc admission across various specialisations. For Round 1 admission, the minimum and maximum ranks required for admission ranged from 9 to 513, respectively, for students in the General AI quota. Therefore, if you belong to the general category, you can certainly secure a seat at IIT Delhi. If you belong to the General AI category, the IIT JAM cutoff for MSc admission showed inconsistency for MSc in Physics and MSc in Chemistry in the last round. Meanwhile, the cutoff ranks for MSc in Mathematics and MSc in Economics decreased over three years. This suggests a more competitive cutoff for admission to these MSc specialisations within the General category. The shift in the cutoff ranks depends on various factors, such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and the exam's difficulty level. With a UCCED cutoff rank of 30, it is very difficult for students belonging to the OBC AI quota to secure a seat at IIT Delhi for admission to the B.Des course. The cutoff ranks vary for each round and category. UCEED Round 1 closing ranks over three years for B.Des at IIT Delhi ranged between 20 and 26 for the OBC category candidates. Therefore, it is not possible for students to gain admission during Round 1 with a rank of 30. However, if the seats remain vacant until the last round, there is a slight chance that the institute will provide some relaxation in the cutoff ranks in the subsequent round to fill its seats. Thus, it is advisable to wait until the last round, if your dream is to get into IIT Delhi only for B.Des admission.

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers a four-year full-time programme at the undergraduate level. IIT Delhi B.Des admission is based on candidates' performance in the UCEED entrance exam, followed by a counselling process. So, considering the ranks, IIT Bombay was the most competitive among the aspirants for B.Des admission as compared to that of IIT Delhi.
