Candidates having all Bachelor's degree undergraduate course leading to a Bachelor's, Integrated Master's or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture offered by IITs (admitted through JEE) and having a CGPA/CPI score of 8.00 or above (on a scale of 0-10) are exempted from requirement of GATE qualification. Candidates having two years of relevant work experience are exempted from requirement of GATE score, provided their candidature is sponsored by the employer.
