IIT Delhi - opportunity to fulfill your dream.

Placements: Atleast 60-70% students got placed and remaining opted for higher studies. The highest package was of 16 Lacs and the lowest one was 6 Lacs. Average is about 8-10 Lacs. Top recruiters are Mathworks, Siemens, General Electric, Qualcomm, Honda (R&D). Internship companies were IBM, Wipro. Atleast 50-60% did internship. Control engineer in R&D dept. and also programmer related to that.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is 24/7 and available everywhere in the campus. Labs and classroom are well designed and all the equipments are available there. Library is wonderful. This year due to lack of room available inside the campus, IIT provided us off campus hostel. Mess and canteen foods are best. All the sport equipment are available to play any game and inter hostel tournament also happens every year. Medical facility is free of cost.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful. They are well qualified. We can even go their office and ask the doubts and they don't hesitate to respond. Automation is now the requirement of almost every industry and the curriculum is such that student can learn theoretical as well as practical point of view of the subject.

Other: I want in a R&D field and automation provide a big opportunity to work in this field in world's topmost companies. There should be more and more industrial visits to learn the practical aspects also. Many events are organised, so students can also show their talent in extracurricular activities.
