In 2018 college rocks for his placement due to our new director. Theatre in IIT, Roorkee is best.

Placements: All my seniors are selected in placements. They have a good package, and the average package was 8 lakhs per annum. It has 100% placements. For M.Tech, the stipend is Rs. 12400 per month. The highest salary package is about 15 LPA. There is a good chance to go foreign for the internship if you maintain CGPA above 9. The placement cell is very active for students.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is the best thing in the college. You can use unlimited data on the college campus without any restrictions. Mostly class has AC. A medical facility in the college is free for IIT Roorkee student and staff. IIT Roorkee has much-enriched labs regarding equipment. There is no ragging in the college. The food and canteen in Roorkee are good and cheap.

Faculty: The teachers in IIT Roorkee is much educated. The best branch is the civil branch. The teacher's behaviour towards PG courses and the B.Tech final year is much friendly. For the M.Tech class, it is less, so you have much time for research and project. The teachers always help in your project and research. In a classroom and generally in M.Tech there are 20 to 25 students.

Other: Thomso is the much-awaited fest for whole Roorkee. There are many fests and guest lectures in the college. 2 to 3 guest lectures are organised weekly. For scholarship, there are many programmes.
