- The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam for IIT Delhi admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The UCEED 2026 entrance exam for the B.Des programme is scheduled for Jan 18, 2026, and the results will be declared on Mar 6, 2026.

Yes, IIT Delhi accepts GATE/CEED/UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR entrance exam scores for admission to different specialisations offered under the IIT Delhi PhD programme. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score can be called for an interview round by some of the departments. The accepted exam can vary depending upon the chosen PhD specialisation.
Students seeking admission to BDes course (Bachelor of Design) at IIT Delhi are required to sit for UCEED exam 2023. UCEED releases qualifying cutoff in the form of mean deviation and standard deviation. Appearing in UCEED 2023 or being on the admission rank list does not guarantee admission to IIT Delhi BDes courses.
Candidates who have passed UCEED 2023 must apply separately to the UCEED participating institute for BDes admission. Apart from passing the UCEED exam, the candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, category certificates and other documents, as well as the UCEED score, to be verified by IIT Delhi.
IIT Delhi MSc fee structure is cumulative of various components, including tuition fees, hostel fees, student welfare fund, alumni fees, training and placement charges, etc. Candidates who get selected have to pay the required admission fees to confirm their candidature. The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 118 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology.
The total course fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, medical fees, transport fees, etc. IIT Delhi PhD tuition fee for full-time course is INR 7,500 per semester. In addition, PhD (part-time/sponsored) programmes is INR 17,500. The hostel fee for PhD candidates is INR 13,250. Some other fee such as students distress fund scheme (each semester) of INR 400 and insurance scheme (yearly) fee of INR 500 may also be added in the fee.
