As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BA at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET. But, this being said there is no official information on whether the university will only consider CUET UG scores or other components as well for admission, it is tough to give the right answer. Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students. Candidates seeking admission under the reserved category can apply for reservation under one category only and are required to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions of the course. • 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
  who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims.
• 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
• 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.

Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA must have passed Class 12 or SSC with a minimum aggregate ranging from 40-50%. The passing percentage is different for different specialisations offered in the BA programme. With an annual intake of over 900 students for BA and BA (Hons) programmes (including all the specialisations), admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA and BA (Hons) is subject to either CUET (conducted by NTA) or JMI entrance exam. Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting 2022, admission to a few BA (Hons) specialisations is CUET-based and for the rest, it is university-level entrance-based.

Jamia Millia Islamia is a popular and affordable public university in Delhi. Tuition fee for all the departments at JMI ranges between 5 K to 20 K per year. The hostel and mess fees are minimal, totalling 38 K for the entire year. JMI is also known for having the Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics. The university released its prospectus for admissions in March with the schedule for admission to courses accepting national-level and university-level entrance exams. JMI, New Delhi offers over 220 courses in both regular and self-financed modes. The university also provides distance learning courses at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Diploma levels.

As per the JMI cutoff 2024 for the Round 13 seat allotment, candidates won't be able to get into JMI with 50 percentile for M.Sc in Biotechnology, which is the only course available for the General AI category candidates.
