BHU is the best central university located in the city of Varanasi.
Placements: About 70-80 percent placement is confirmed in many potential future. Average packages are about 10 LPA-12 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the highest goes to 30 LPA in the Bachelor of Arts. There are many other streams and branches of study that provide even greater packages like at IIT-BHU.
Infrastructure: The magnificent library feels like a second home to the students living here. There is good connectivity of Wi-Fi all over the campus. We also have a medical facility, and a very large hostel accommodation for both students and professors. There are so many hostels, and they have very good accommodation and mess facilities. They have a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to the required industry. Semester exams are not very difficult but are concept-based and have a strict invigilation during the exams.
Other: I chose the course because I have to focus on UPSC CSE. I think this course will help me very much in my career. The campus is very large and beautifully built. One could definitely say that after entering the campus it is another city due to its large campus area. Students here enjoy their lives very much.

University has really a good and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: There is a good placement in our university. The average package is 20 lac. 40 to 50 percent of students get internships. Talented students get a higher amount of package with a prestigious company. Students are happy with this package and job. Some students get a very high package.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The library, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, hospital, and mess are available in our university. The food in the mess is good. Playgrounds are also available in our university. The library has too many books and such a good infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are kind-hearted and helpful. Semester exams are very difficult and there is no scope for cheating. 80 to 90 percent pass in semester exams. Without studying hard, there is no scope to pass in the semester exam. Students take help from teachers for career guidance and knowledge.
Other: There are many activities on campus: mountaineering, sports, and events. They build our character and knowledge. They help us to know different friends and cultures.

Banaras Hindu University is the best residential university for middle-class students.
Placements: Political Science at BHU currently has no formal placement cell, though other departments like Geography and Chemistry offer structured placement opportunities through their faculty members. IIT organized a placement cell every year for IIT Bhu students.
Infrastructure: They provide amazing food in a mess while taking care of the hygiene of individuals. For classrooms, they are really awesome and feel self-confident. Professors of political science are really amazing.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, the curriculum blends theory with practical understanding, and exams are conducted regularly with a balanced mix of written assessment and internal evaluation. Exam patterns can be traced by PYQs and so on.
Other: It's good for campus life and academic growth.

Very good college and faculty members.
Placements: There are about 20% students placed in my course. Top recruiting agency is NTA. They provided me with the role of assistant professor at university. They offer the highest salary Rs 2,16,000 LPA, and the lowest Rs 12,000 per month. The average salary is Rs 1,60,000 LPA.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available in my department. Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library, and all facilities are present. The food quality is also very good like mother hand. Medical facilities are very good at my college. Sports and games are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. This course is relevant for getting a job. The semester exams are not much difficult. It is not more stressful and difficult overall.

A memorable and enjoyable campus.
Placements: If you are doing just an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts or Social Science and expecting placement, then you need to rethink your decision. You should go for an M.A. or MBA if you want placements. However, BHU still offers placements for undergraduate degrees in IITs, science faculty, and even the commerce faculty.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is pretty good, but it can be improved. Hostel food is amazing at the lowest prices. Accommodation in the hostel is so cheap that it can be afforded by everyone. The central and cyber libraries provide sufficient study space for students. Additionally, there is one ground per faculty and a health center for students.
Faculty: Semester exams are not very difficult, and you need 40/100 to pass the semester exams. However, the semester exam timing is not constant. In one semester, you may have an 8-month gap, and in the next semester, you may have only a 3-month gap. Still, you will be given enough time for preparation.
Other: BHU has one of the best campuses with facilities.

It was one of the best times of my life. I enjoyed the course and campus.
Placements: I graduated in Economics. There was no placement in Economics, nor were there any internship options. The college didn't provide industry-grade knowledge. Masters did have some placement options, but they were limited to 2-3 seats, and the package was quite low as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite good compared to normal colleges, but it could have been far better. The food in the canteen and mess was average. Free medical facilities were available to all students, and there were good opportunities for sports. Inter-department sports competitions were organized annually.
Faculty: Professors were not good at teaching except for some. The curriculum was outdated and did not suit industry requirements. Semester exams focused on cramming rather than practical knowledge. The syllabus was also not at par with DU's syllabus and did not help in JAM, GATE, or ISI exams.
Other: The relevance of economics in the modern world motivated me to pursue this course. I could have participated more in extracurricular activities. Events, fests, and connectivity were great.

Placements: B.A. Hons. in Social Sciences at BHU doesn't offer much placement through campus. However, you will get a chance for various internships as well as for volunteering in multiple events and functions held in and outside the campus. If anyone is looking for placement through B.A., then there is no placement at all.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the campus is somewhat good. There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. Except for older buildings, all the buildings are good, and the main plus point is the library of BHU. It's a huge library offering lakhs of books, and there is a cyber library also available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is really helpful and qualified. Their teaching is exceptionally well. But sometimes, classes are not held regularly. The course curriculum is good and relevant, and it will prepare you for competitive exams, as the syllabus is very wide. The semester exams are not that tough.
Other: I have chosen the B.A. Hons. Economics course in BHU. The professors are really good and knowledgeable. I wish there would be an improvement in the placement scenario in the future. The campus is very huge and also beautiful (especially the VT temple). If anyone is a sports enthusiast, then this is the place for you to be because of the huge grounds available throughout the campus. Fests take place multiple times.

Satisfied with academics and evaluation. Lack of placement opportunities.
Placements: Placements are less in the Bachelor of Arts course. Students with foreign languages, hospitality and tourism, and statistical skills may have a better chance. Placements mainly (here in BHU) are offered for Master's and special course students, such as those in management, hospitality, nursing, medical, vocational, etc.
Faculty: Faculty of Social Sciences (1971) are one of the six major centers of education on campus, with specialization in History, Economics, Political Science, and other social sciences. The staff here are well-educated and professional in their fields. Libraries (Departmental) and other resources for study material are available. Extracurricular activities, academic conferences, and meetings take place often. Exams are held semester-wise in both UG and PG Programs. The exam process can become hectic if we don't clear exams in a single attempt. The back papers and special supplementary examinations are also held regularly to aid students.
Other: Fest, events, important personalities, and professionals from various fields often visit the premises. National-level conferences are one of the major events that take place in our college. There are inter-university and intra-university exchanges for faculty and research.
