Jamia Millia Islamia is a popular and affordable public university in Delhi. Tuition fee for all the departments at JMI ranges between 5 K to 20 K per year. The main reason of great placement in Jamia Milia is there alumni network. The network is soo strong in there college that help them to have great placement every year. The environment is quite disturbing but you really stay focused and have a great state of mind, then you will have a great college life here. The facilities are good here but the environment in the college is the main Issue you will face.

The highest salary offered to MCA and MSc Bioinformatics students during the placements 2025 was INR 18.5 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively.

Earlier, the overall the highest salary for JMI placements 2024 stood at INR 59.91 LPA. This was offered to BTech Computer Engineering student. The second the highest salary was INR 24 LPA and was bagged by MBA students. 

Yes, Jamia Millia Islamia accepts CUET scores for UG courses such as BA, BSc and BVoc. Jamia Millia Islamia admission is based on entrance exam score. The university released its prospectus for admissions in March with the schedule for admission to courses accepting national-level and university-level entrance exams. JMI, New Delhi offers over 220 courses in both regular and self-financed modes. The university also provides distance learning courses at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Diploma levels.

As per the JMI cutoff 2024 for the Round 13 seat allotment, candidates won't be able to get into JMI with 50 percentile for M.Sc in Biotechnology, which is the only course available for the General AI category candidates.
