Experienced professors, average infrastructure, and satisfied with the experience.

Placements: Most students go for a Ph.D. We are encouraged to clear entrance exams, and the syllabus is molded accordingly, which helps with the preparation. Placements are mediocre. Internships should be self-applied, but professors help with supporting the documents, as well as the office staff.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi quality is really good. Classrooms are old and outdated, lacking modern facilities. The library is well-organized and spacious, with no distractions, and really a peaceful environment. Cleanliness and food safety need improvement. There is a hospital nearby that is free of cost for students. The dental staff is excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are exceptionally qualified, approachable, and supportive. They guide students and solve queries whenever necessary. This course is curriculum-relevant, aligned, and updated with the entrance syllabus. The semester exams are moderately challenging, and the practical exams are difficult, with the viva mostly mostly.

Other: Almost no fests and events are organized by the Department of Chemistry, but the other departments around do set up elaborate fests. The crowd is quite okay, and the people are mostly friendly. Scholarships are available and actively sought after. Extracurricular activities include a lot of sports.

It is a highly underrated college with helpful staff members and good teachers.

Placements: There was a placement test, but only 2-3 students got placed. Many students opted for PhD in this college. Some of my seniors get placed abroad, like Korea, with a good salary package of 10 LPA. Most of us want to further increase our academics and do PhD. Overall, placements are not up to the mark as we should expect from this course. It may be due to the whole pandemic situation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is huge. It got multiple gates. My department was in gate number 7. My gate alone has 5 cafeterias. The Zakhir Hussain library is huge and very systematic. It is very spacious and has a wide variety of books subject-wise.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. I completed my B.Sc course from DU. In terms of knowledge, they are trying their best. Semester exams are difficult. If you want to get good marks, then you should be taking maximum classes. Teachers are dedicated to doing their duty.

Other: I have chosen this course because chemistry is everywhere in our everyday life. I want to discover it more, and I am not disappointed. Things like farewell parties need some improvement here. The quality of the food served in the cafeteria should also be improved. Students are very broad-minded and cool.

This college is like another home for students.

Placements: Placements are offered only for professional courses. The average salary package offered is approximately 3-4 LPA. Companies like Google and Lenovo come for placements. Some Japanese Ink manufacturing companies also come for placements. There is a separate placement cell for placements. When you register, you get emails regarding company visits in future for placements.

Infrastructure: There are digital resources centres in the university library where you can use the system for your studies. There are well-furnished labs in every department. Classrooms are very good and big enough in every department. The whole campus is connected with high-speed Wi-Fi. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hygienic and good food is served in hostel mess and canteens. There is a health centre named Dr Ansari Health Centre where any student can check-up free of cost. There is a national sports ground named after Muhammad Ali Khan Pataudi, who is a renowned cricketer. Inter-university and intra-university games are held every year.

Faculty: Professors are very helpful and well-qualified. Almost 99% of the teachers are PhD holders and have a lot of experience. They teach in a very informative and easy way. There are 2 sessional exams every semester. Exam questions always come from the syllabus, and nothing is out of the syllabus. Marking is also very lenient. Maximum students get the first division in class. The course curriculum is very well-designed for the ease of students and teachers.

Other: I have chosen this course because material chemistry is only available in approximately two universities in India, and it has a very good scope in future for research.
