I am satisfied with the faculty, mentors and fruitful placements, which adds much enthusiasm.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course get placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Some companies like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Air India, Tata Advanced Systems, Mahindra Aerospace and Taneja Aerospace visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Lovely Professional University is widely spread over 600 acres with amazing infrastructure. It completely has an eco-friendly area. The university provides a good Wi-Fi network for students. Classrooms and labs are very neat and clean with air-conditioned and CCTV cameras. The library consists of books all around the world. The facilities provided by the college are awesome.

Faculty: The university has lecturers who are professionals in their field. They hold PH degrees in their respective fields. The course curriculum is easy. Semester exams are difficult if you are not perfect in your studies, but in my view, it is average. You should maintain a minimum of 7.5 CGPA in your graduation.

Other: I am pursuing aerospace engineering at the university. In my view, there are many chances for me in the area of placements and internships. As a student, you need to hold atleast 1 project and 2 research in your four years duration to have a good impression at placements.

There is no scope for placements in core companies and no proper practical knowledge.

Placements: We are the first batch of Aerospace in LPU ( 2016-2020). Out of 60, 3 students were placed in Global Quest but are not given joining yet. The rest of the students are forced to take some internships by paying a fee luring that we will get good placement. But out of 15 students, 3 students are placed with Rs.15,000 per month. There are not many placement offers. I got an internship in Tata Advanced System but are expelled out due to corona. I have approached my placement officers regarding the same to help us but there is no response in return. I got a placement through Cocubes but didn't got a joining letter since July 2020.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in LPU is good, but there is not much equipment related to Aerospace. Classrooms are classically equipped with air-conditioners and projectors. The quality of food served is very poor in the mess, and you can't get meals in the stalls outside. Apart from these, there is a lot of scope in extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but there are only 4 teachers from aerospace backgrounds and the rest are from the mechanical department. With the knowledge you gain from college you won't be ready to work in the core industry. Curriculum is not that opted. Instead of teaching us some core software, we are taught with some irrelevant software that too not completly.

I would rate 5 out of 6 for the college.

Placements: About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA.

Infrastructure: LPU has good infrastructure. Our college is spread over about 600 acres. There are two central libraries. Wi-Fi facility is available in both hostels and college. Good quality of food is served in the mess and canteens. Some stalls are also running there, but they are not a part of college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful not only in academics but also in personal life. They are highly qualified. They are delivering good quality of lectures with high knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a passion for our course. The best thing about our course is practical things, and that practicals make me the best. Events and fests are conducted frequently in every semester. Our university provides a good scholarship based on intermediate.

Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST). Candidates who have secured 70% aggregate marks in Diploma are exempted from LPUNEST. Admission is through counselling based on the marks obtained in LPUNEST. Candidates with 70% aggregate marks in Diploma/ B.Sc. are selected on the basis of qualifying exam marks.
