NIMCET 2026 Counselling
The NIMCET counselling 2026 will be an online process and will be conducted after the NIMCET results have been announced. Please check the process for NIMCET counselling for reference.
- Register yourself for the counselling process by filling your personal details, as prompted.
- Fill in your choice of colleges in the order of preference. Candidates are advised to select as many choices as possible for a higher chance of allotment into the preferred colleges.
- Pay INR 1000 as the counselling fee, online through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
- NIMCET 2026 Admit Card and Rank Card
- 10th and 12th Marks Sheets and Passing Certificates
- Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Residence and Medical Certificates
- Four recent passport-size photographs

While reporting to their allotted institute for NIMCET 2026 seat allotment confirmation, the candidates will have to submit the following original documents along with their self-attested photocopies.

You must verify all your documents during NIMCET counselling. You must also bring the original documents at the time of joining. The documents required for NIMCET Counselling are listed below:

Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of preference as they wish to from the list of available choices.
Candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before last date & time failing which last saved choices will be considered for allotment. Choices submitted in the first round of counselling will be processed up to third round.
When the candidate opens an application form, an instruction page pops up. The instruction page will provide all the important information about eligibility criteria, application fee, application form submission process, payment procedures, etc. Additionally, the candidate must read the instructions carefully and proceed only after doing so.

No, you are not allowed to choose the date and time of the NIMCET counselling. The exam-conducting body finalises the counselling schedule. You would need to register online and participate in the NIMCET counselling process by paying the fee and filling out your choices. Qualified candidates eligible to participate in the counselling will be declared qualified based on their NIMCET results.
After the completion of the Seat Allotment Result in each round, NIMCET publishes a report of the institute-wise seat allotment result. This will be a list of allotted candidates containing the NIMCET Application Number, candidate category, allotted rank, etc. For the year 2025, the seat allotment process is over.
