NIT Trichy offers a two year MTech course across 23 specialisations. Candidates who hold a Bachelors degree of BTech and passed GATE with a valid score will be offered seat throgh CCMT Counselling process. Find below the list of all BTech specialisations offered at NIT Trichy:

 To get admission to M.Tech at NIT Trichy, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Aspirants need to be graduated with minimum 60% aggregate with BE/BTech from a recognised University. Admission is conducted based a valid GATE score. The applicant further must submit the documents at the time of form filling and admission procedure as a proof of eligibility.

NIT Trichy offers various specialisations under its MTech programme. Some of the specialisations are Mtech in Data Analytics, Environmental Engineering, and more. For all the specialisations, the institute offers an equal number of seats, i.e., 28. Combining all, the institute offers 658 seats for the MTech programme.

IIIT Bangalore and NIT Trichy both offer admission to the M.Tech course on the basis of a valid GATE score, followed by a GATE Counselling process. Talking about the 2023 last-round cutoff, the closing rank for M.Tech in CSE was 480 at IIIT Bangalore. For NIT Trichy, the last round closing score was 637 for the same course and specialisation. Analysing the last round cutoff data, IIIT Bangalore was more competitive for M.Tech in the CSE course than NIT Trichy.

The accepted entrance examinations are JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM,  CAT, and NIMCET. Only the candidates with a valid score in the accepted exams as per the applied course are admitted.
