Satisfied with university.
Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students got placements, and the majority got a decent package. Various institutes and companies approach our university for jobs, such as Akash Institute, etc. 60 percent got internships as well. The roles offered are according to their requirements.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-maintained labs and computer facilities, with air-conditioned rooms and a library. The hostel mess serves good food, and the canteen has multiple options for ordering food. The campus has multiple multi-sports grounds and a health centre as well.
Faculty: Teachers are brilliant with multiple years of teaching experience and are very highly qualified. The course is practical-based and suitable for industry work. The exams are pretty competitive in nature, and the passing percentage is also 40 percent. A very good examination atmosphere is provided to the students.
Other: I chose the course as I am interested in Chemistry. The university provides a perfect environment for doing research as well as studying. Multiple events take place every year, and scholarships are also available for students.

Overall, it is one of the best institutions.
Placements: 85% students were placed, and others also got placements from outside placements. The highest package is 10 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Aakash and other coaching institutes. 100% internships in industrial companies. Teacher, Analyst, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: A lot of facilities have well-developed labs, and almost every type of chemical is present. Classrooms are well developed, ACs are present in every class, and smart boards are also present. Wi-Fi is also present in every class. The qualities of hostels are good and well-maintained. Cleanliness is maintained. The quality of food is a little bit poor, but okay. Medical facilities such as X-ray and sports grounds are also present in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have good knowledge. Teaching quality is also good, and they teach well to clear our concepts. The course curriculum is relevant, and they teach us enough that is useful in the industry. Semester exams are easy and can be easily prepared for in one week.
Other: I have an interest in Chemistry, so I chose Chemistry. I have improved in my experiential knowledge too much. All events happen there.

Comprehensive guide to the inside of Panjab University.
Placements: Most students opt for Masters, but those who opt for placements get fully placed. Placements for Masters students were 100%. The average package was 8 LPA and may range between 7-15 LPA. Top recruiters include ALLEN, AAKASH, FITJEE, and Unacademy. Roles offered are Teachers for NEET/JEE/NET/GATE in top coaching institutes.
Infrastructure: Classrooms had digital smart boards for illustrative learning. Labs were well-equipped. Wi-Fi was available in departments as well as hostels. The department and central library were well-maintained and highly accessible. Books and journals could be easily accessed. Hostels were good, with bed, tables, chairs, and fans available. Mattresses and lights had to be carried by students. Food was good, with the mess and canteen providing a variety of foods. A dispensary/health center was available on campus. My hostel had a parlour, snack shop, mini gym, AC common room, and guest room. There was also a large ground for archery, hockey, football, lawn tennis, a shooting range, and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified. All were Ph.D. holders and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. Teachers were very approachable, and doubt-solving was effective. They helped with books and other reference materials. Semester exams ranged from intermediate to difficult. The pass percentage was 90-95%. Golden Chance exams were conducted to give students one more opportunity to clear backlogs.
Other: I was quite interested in Chemistry. That's why I chose it. Practicals should have been given more weightage, as they were interesting, illustrative, and provided hands-on experience to learn concepts. The campus surroundings were very good: a lush green campus where everything was quite accessible.

Great faculty, good exposure, and good infrastructure. If you get in, enjoy your life to the fullest
Placements: Panjab University does not offer placements for students in undergrad programs but provides a few placements in Masters and Ph.D. programs in various colleges and companies. You can give exams to get placements in several institutes, and study material is all available in libraries that are open 24 hours a day (the main library).
Infrastructure: Departments have been built for a very long time, so it's an old building, but they are managed well. Some hostels are not so good, and the food is not good, but some are very well maintained. The canteen food is good, and the student center (STU-C) is known for its quality of food.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and qualified, and they are understanding and mostly available in the department. Exams are moderate, and everything is taught in class. The passing percentage is 40%. Everything is explained well in classes, and if you study well, it's not difficult to score good marks.
Other: PU is a well-known university and a great place for exposure, and these will be the moments to remember for a lifetime.

Panjab University- popular but in need of funding.
Placements: My course did not have a placement policy involved in it, though it opened up gates for doing Masters' in Chemistry I. e. further studies. This course also provided opportunity to go into the chemical industries sector, but None of my classmates went ahead for that.
Infrastructure: The department infrastructure was average at best as the building is very old. The labs though were fully equipped and functional. Classrooms had proper sitting furniture and fans. The department library was small but taken care of properly. As far as hostels are concerned, the hostel buildings are as old as the university itself and therefore a little beat up. The rooms are very small- just enough for 2 beds. The hostel canteen provided good food.
Faculty: The faculty was very knowledgeable and helpful. The course curriculum was good and made a proper base for further studies in Chemistry. Though it does not make students industry ready and it has a rather theoretical approach instead of being pragmatic. The semester exams were fine- not too difficult or easy. 40% was the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Chemistry. As the pandemic hit just after the start of my 3rd semester, it completely threw me off my studies. I wish I had utilized that time for online classes more. PU fests are very popular and are organized with great enthusiasm. I loved the events which brought together students from all the departments. The campus is very spacious and breathy.

Has good instruments and average placements.
Placements: Our department is good in terms of research and all but placements especially after B.Sc. is very low and placement is only available in coaching industries like Aakash, Allen and Byjus. But engineering department of the campus has good placement cell and many companies such as Infosys, Microsoft and A.M.E. recruit from there.
Infrastructure: Hostels of Panjab University is very good and accommodation is available for two people in a room which is a bit congested for two students. Almirah is also one and we have to share it with our roommate. Bathrooms in our hostel is common and not attached to the rooms. Course is fine and is oriented to a particular subject in which we are doing our honors.
Faculty: Faculty is well educated and all the professors are Ph.D. in their subjects and they have done their Ph.D. either from abroad or from well reputed institutes such ts, iiscs, isers and csir labs. Exams of our course are conducted on time and the semester is divided into two parts MST (mid semester exam) and EST (end semester exam).
Other: Campus life at panjab university is just awesome. Everybody should visit there at least once in their life.

It is a good campus with a good campus life and hostels. Overall it's a good college.
Placements: Since I'm a bachelor's student, so there are almost zero placements for a bachelor's degree in B.Sc. hons. Chemistry. For placements, you must pursue a masters degree here, then there are some chances of placements. But those are very rare. Some students get placed in pharmaceutical companies but not much. For job placements, you have to apply for job interviews or further tests and qualify those to get jobs. Some students also get internships but it depends upon your performance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good here. There are proper laboratories and equipment available. There are very costly and sensitive apparatus for various experiments and researches are also available here. Moreover, the practical class here lasts for 4 hours. You have to perform experiments properly without any hurry, as you have four hours long laboratory classes for each subject. The department also has its library, free Wi-Fi, canteen, etc. The hostels are also good. The room quality is not that great, but hostel life is amazing, and you will love it. The mess food is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. But some professors are irritating. The course curriculum is good. But I don't like the way of teaching. The main problem is that there are multiple professors appointed for every single subject who teach you different units of a subject. The first day, one of the professors taught his unit, and on the next day, another professor also came for the same subject and he starts teaching his unit. This creates a mess. I hate this way. One professor should complete his part, and then the other professor should teach his unit. But here these create a mess. Exams are conducted in a good manner.

Our university is quite good due to its well-experienced teaching staff members.
Placements: Our university did not offer very good placements in recent years. Companies offered placements for M.Sc final year and PhD students. Only a few students did internships in the last year, and the placement rate is very low in this university.
Infrastructure: Although the infrastructure is not very good, our university has provided very good facilities like good medical facilities. Every department has its own library. Although hostels are not good and even less hygienic, the quality of the food served in the hostels and canteens is very good. There are different sports departments, and games are also available. Wi-Fi facilities are also available in our university.
Faculty: All the teaching staff members here are professors and assistant professors and are well experienced. They give more importance to practical work which is quite good for students for their future work. Teachers give more importance to the practical work, and there is lab work for 3 days every week, so it surely makes the students ready for industry work.
Other: I chose this course from this university because of well-experienced faculty members and the practical work being done in this university. This university conducts extracurricular activities and sports well. Scholarships are also provided to students. But our course would be more helpful if there would be more facilities like in labs.

Your scores are not bad and hence there are some chances for you to get admission. Since the competition is too high, it is difficult to say with assurance. Hence, you may try your best at the time of admission. All the best.
