The University has released the NIRF report 2023 that incorporates the 2022 placement data for Law courses (including the Department and affiliated institutes). The key highlights of UILS Chandigarh placements 2022 are tabulated below for reference:

UIET is ranked among the best 30 engineering colleges in India. It has a very high placement percentage with an average pay package of INR 8.72 LPA in the year 2023. UIET’s infrastructure is quite good: well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, workshops, a library, computer center, sports complex and a canteen.

The faculty at UIET are said to be one of the finest within the region. Some feel that it is a good college for placements, infrastructure and campus life as well.

More than 100 companies visited the Panjab University campus for UIET placements and 53 for the MBA placements. The same is presented below:

The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) in Chandigarh, India, provides UG courses for roughly INR 2,89,000 and PG courses for around INR 47,980, excluding M.Tech Microelectronics.

The following are the costs for some of the courses offered at UIET:

• BE: INR 1.48 Lakhs during the first year.
• M.Tech: INR 47,420 during the first year.
• BE + MBA: INR 1.41 Lakhs during the first year.
• ME: INR 47,420 during the first year.

The Panjab University accepts the GATE cutoff score for admission to the ME/ M.Tech courses. The GATE Cutoff 2023 ranged from 363 to 387 score for admission for the General category under the All India quota. The toughest and the easiest specialisation was M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.E. in Information Technology, respectively.
