Beautiful college life.

Placements: 80% of students are placed. Honda R&D, NxtWave, Infosys, and TVS are among the top recruiters. More than 600+ students are recruited overall. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. However, students usually practice regularly for placements. Many students are also placed in internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with a positive student environment and friendly staff. University provides good food facilities in the canteen. Transport facilities are good with polite drivers. The hostel infrastructure is clean and hygienic. Labs are equipped with the latest equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The curriculum is highly relevant to the course, helping students develop industry skills. The semester exams are quite difficult, with creative questions based on class topics. However, this helps in learning concepts in a better way.

Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in IT jobs and prefer core engineering. Events and fests are among the best compared to other universities.

Placements: More than 60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 48 LPA. The average salary package offered is 11 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many IT companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. More than 90% of students got internships. Many product-based companies visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good and neat. Our campus is well-maintained. They provide separate blocks for advanced studies. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The library has more than 50,000 books. The hostel facilities are good. The mess and canteen facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and friendly. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is related to the industry. They recruit students based on their knowledge. Semester exams are not challenging. The pass percentage is 30%.

It is an excellent college.

Placements: Satyabama University has secured 50th rank in the NIRF ranking. Our college provides excellent placements. Almost 92.14% of students are placed. There is an increase of 1.44% in recruitment every year. Top recruiting companies visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. All facilities are provided in the lab. Classrooms are good. The hostel facilities are not good. The quality of the food is excellent. If you don't want to eat in the mess, you can go to the paid canteen. Our college offers good education, excellent atmosphere, and good transportation facilities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is easy and well-structured for students to keep up with and gain knowledge. Our teachers are well-educated and very experienced in many aspects and core knowledge. Exam pattern is adequate to make students pass and give them the knowledge they should have.

Infrastructure: All facilities are very good in this college. Wi-Fi is available. Video lectures are available in this college. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library in this college. Canteen is available on our campus. Mess is better. Medical facilities are available. Sports are conducted in this college.

It provides good placements.

Placements: In our department, around 97% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 24 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, TCS, HCL, Zoho, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. In our department, most of the students get internships in HCL, Cognizant, and many others. Around 70% of students get internships. The roles offered are a software developer and testing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. In all the classrooms, students have a smart mode like a smart class with a project. Wi-Fi is also enabled, and every department has a separate laboratory, and at the same time, more than 80 students can do the experiment. It has a separate hostel-like building and provides a playground. There are 6 hostels in this college. Our college has an anti-ragging cell, and students do not have to worry about that.

Faculty: Every department has an experienced teaching staff so they are well knowledgeable and high-level teaching methods are provided to students. Every department will take all the students on an industrial visit. The exam is moderate, and the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: In HSC level education I was chosen science group that's why I opted for this EEE in higher studies. This course has a lot of scope in the future. My wish is to improve the practical knowledge of students. Every year, cultural events are held. Many clubs like robotics, entrepreneur club, science club, etc are also conducted.

It is a good place to attain knowledge with lots of challenges.

Placements: In the year 2018, the placements were worst. In 2016, almost 90% of our department seniors got placed from college. A single student is offered a salary package varying from 2 LPA to 3 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company of our course. Although core companies do not visit much but 1 to 2 core companies used to visit once.

Infrastructure: The library is the best place to hang out. There was a lot of scopes to nurture yourself with some brilliant faculty members around you all the time. The mess was just out of the world. Sports are limited until or unless you are a basketball player. There was very good scope for the basketball lovers.

Faculty: The teaching staff was very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable except a few. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the students perspective. It is very much helpful in the core companies, and it also develops the quality to be superior in your field.

"OUT OF SYLLABUS" Placement. Story of an Electrical student turned into a Software Engineer.

Placements: Nearly 80% got placed ,10% opted for higher studies and have plan to do business remaining 10% have arrears and having plan to write only government exams. Due to market crisis for EEE this year the highest salary package is 4.75 LPA till now, the lowest package is 2.5lpa and average is nearly 3.5 LPA. We got more IT MNC companies than core companies so for our course Hyundai mobis, L&T came. Top roles are offered from top IT companies but due to the lack of knowledge in IT industry we didn't make it. The highest package we got from an IT company is 47 LPA. 20% got internships after placement in final year from CTS, Capgemini, HCL, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Library and labs are far better than other colleges. Wi-Fi will be available only in the library so there is no free Wi-Fi all over college. Classrooms need to be good and painted. The food is free of cost but needs to be good while serving. Medical facilities are good and don't think about games. Hostel are Good compared to other colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are good in their area of interests but apart from that they don't know and some of the teachers don't know how to teach the tough subjects so we found difficult while studying tough subjects like DSP etc. , Course curriculum is good but it has to be updated for this fast moving world still we are having old syllabus.

It is one of the best universities in Chennai for pursuing engineering.

Placements: The placement ratio of college is good. Almost 1608 students were eligible for placements. Out of which, more than 1469 are placed in various MNCs. The salary package offered is around 3-6 LPA. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, are bulk recruiters. We need to clear aptitude and technical to get into HR round. In our batch, 2012-2016, almost 161 companies visited the campus for placements. The placement rate was too good, i.e., around 91%. During placements, they provide soft skill training as well as technical training.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good. The main administration block is just awesome. Classrooms are very good and spacious. There are no air-conditioned classrooms. However, all the labs and departments are air-conditioned and well maintained. Sathyabama University is the best for its food and hostel facilities, but it is constructed in down place so heavy rains can damage a lot.

Faculty: Faculty in our college are PhD holders. They teach the main points of the chapter or topic selectively. We need to go through the books. Everything depends upon the students. If we learn, we gain knowledge. They explain the topics with equal importance as other colleges do. At the exam time, professors help a lot. They give their best for the students who want to gain a good knowledge and become expert in that particular subject.

Other: Many events are held in our college, like fests. Even there are separate fests for females, and they are called as fem fests. Celebrities are invited to fests or cheer up. I was fortunate to attend many motivational speech events as it really helped me a lot.
