MBBS-The institute has a well-established reputation for producing successful doctors through its MBBS program. Through its affiliated tertiary care hospital, it offers considerable clinical experience. A curriculum based on credits and problem-based learning is used in the MBBS program.
BDS-Saveetha is regarded as having one of the top dental programs in the nation. Improved practical knowledge in dentistry is the aim of the BDS program. It provides training in cutting-edge dental procedures and has highly skilled faculty.

Admission to most of the courses are done on the basis of national level common entrance examinations, while the college also conducts entrance for a few courses. For B.E./B.Tech courses, eligible candidates need to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University. The selection is done through the Single Window Counseling process administered by Anna University via Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), with a required cut-off score of 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry).

Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) offers a variety of scholarships depending on extracurricular and academic accomplishments rather than a universal 100% scholarship. Students who have qualified for JEE-Main or have achieved 80% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for a 50% fee scholarship offered by the institution. For Paramedical and Nursing: More than 25 large hospitals employed applicants with backgrounds in physiotherapy, nursing.
