Pune University offers a two-year MA programme across more than 40 specialisations to the students at PG level in the field of Arts. In addition to this, there are multiple Integrated MA courses offered at the Unipune departments The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. Pune University admission 2024 for a majority of PG and UG courses, such as MSc, MA, MTech, MCom, BA and BBA, among others, is based on the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. For courses like BTech, MBA, MSc, the University accepts few National entrance exams like JEE, CAT, XAT, NEET, etc. for admission. MAH CET is the coomon entrance exam accepted by the university for admission to its UG and PG course. Other than that, for courses like BTech, MBA, MSc, the University accepts few National entrance exams like JEE, CAT, XAT, NEET, etc. for admission

UniPune offers three-year BSc Blended and BSc in four and one specialisations. BSc specialisations includes, Physics,  Chemistry,  Environmental Science,  Earth Science, Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, etc. The University conducts the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) for admission to these course. Also candidates needs to qualify the eligibility criteria i.e. A pass in Class 12 or equivalent from a statutory or recognised board/ university in India

The application forms for MCA admission at UniPune can be filled out via the online portal of MAH MCA CET. The application form for the same are available only in online mode on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. To apply the candidates need to follow the steps given below:

1. Open the MAH MCA CET 2024 website and click on the ‘apply now’ tab and register as a new user.
2. To register, enter your name, e-mail ID and other contact details asked. After successful registration, a registration number and password will be sent through e-mail and SMS
3. Post-registration, candidates have to fill out the detailed form, and upload a recent passport-size photo and scanned signature.
4. After the above step, submit the form. Candidates must keep a printed copy of the same with them for future reference. 

At the PG level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 20 specialisations. While admission to a majority of these specialisations is OEE based, there are a few courses, such as Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Drug Chemistry, among others, admission to which is completely merit-based. In addition to this, there are a few MSc programmes, the duration of which is slightly different from the majority. The Department of Management Sciences at Savitribai Phule Pune University (PUMBA) ihas had a great recoed of placements. In 2023, a total of 104 companies participated in 2023 placements, offering 167 job offers. Out of 173 students who opted for placements 161 were placed successfully. The average package was 8.85 LPA and the highest package was 18.95 LPA.  The top recruiters included TATA Autocomp, Federal Bank, CRISIL, and many other renowned companies

Pune University BTech admission is subject to a valid score in Online Entrance Exam (OEE) conducted by the University. However, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET are also considered for admission. Pune University BTech Agricultural Engineering admission is offered based on ICAR AIEEA scores. Candidates need to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with relevant subjects to apply for UniPune BTech admission. While BTech in Aviation is offered by SPPU on its main campus only, BTech programme is offered in multiple specialisations through SPPU-affiliated colleges. Read more here. 

SPPU total tuition fee for MA ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 11.9 lakh. The fee varies depending upon the specialisation chosen, tenure of the course and the affiliated college selected by the student. This tuition fee is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Students are advised to visit the official website of the college they wish to get into or visit the admission office of the college/ university campus in person for more clarity on this subject. Other than the tuition fee, students are also required to pay the application fee to get into UniPune. The application fee for General category candidates is INR 600 (INR 750 with late fee) and the same is INR 400 for reserved category candidates (INR 550 with late fee). 

As per the information available on the web, Pune University exams are not that easy since the competition is high. However, consistent efforts and study help students to pass the exam. Students must go through the notes created in class and books to score well in the exam. The passing mark in Pune University exams is 40%.

The fee structure for MBA at the Department of Management Sciences, depends upon the stream chosen. At Savitribai Phule Pune University (PUMBA) For non-residents of Maharashtra, the 1st-year tuition fee is INR 66,694. For MBA program, the fee is INR 1.29 Lakh. The average fees per year are INR 65,000.

Savitribai Phule Pune University has a sports complex that includes Basketball and Volleyball Courts along-with Cricket and Football Grounds, Gymnasium and a Sports Hostel. The complex is by parks. It features an open ground for outdoor games and athletics. Accommodation facility is also availble for up to 80 sportspeople. 

The list of documents required for Unioune admission and OEE registration are Score card of last qualifying exam, Mark sheet of last semester of qualifying exam, Caste certificate/ non-creamy layer certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra – for reserved category candidates, Valid income certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra, and Medical certificate issued by a civil surgeon in case of PwD category. Candidates must have photocopies of these documents.

SPPU offers courses at the UG, Diploma and PG levels in full-time mode. Admission to the respective course is offered on the basis of merit and entrance. The University offers respective courses with total tuition fees ranging from INR 3 K to INR 30 Lakh, differing level to level of the course.
