"Affordable education with great faculty, diverse crowd, and a vibrant campus life.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Companies also offer internships starting from the third year in certain courses. Various reputed companies visit the campus, offering roles in IT, banking, media, and management. Common recruiters include mid-size firms and regional corporations. The highest salary package offered is 10-15 LPA for top-performing students in specialized courses. The average salary package offered is 4-6 LPA, depending on the field of study.
Infrastructure: There are fully equipped laboratories for courses like biochemistry, biotechnology, computer science, and media studies. A modern digital library and dedicated reading areas to enhance academic resources. Virtual labs are available for hands-on learning in fields such as botany, biotechnology, and IT. Multiple facilities for indoor and outdoor games, fostering physical wellness alongside academics.
Faculty: The faculty includes experienced professors across various departments such as economics, history, commerce, biochemistry, and media studies. The college offers a range of programs in arts, science, and commerce for both undergraduates in this college.
Other: Viva College offers good value for money, particularly for students seeking affordable education without compromising on quality. The student crowd at Viva College is diverse, with individuals coming from different socio-economic backgrounds.

The Three Years of Graduation
Placements: For freshers, the minimum package is around 15k, and if you have knowledge or experience, the minimum package should be around 25k. However, they sometimes tell us to pay our fees by tomorrow; otherwise, they will not give us our hall tickets for the upcoming exams.
Infrastructure: The faculty is good, but I think they are overly friendly. The labs are okay, but many computers have no internet access, and chairs are often unavailable. Food is available, but the canteen is too small for the students; only 5 to 6 students can go to the canteen at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they have knowledge about their subjects, but they don’t know how to explain things to students. Exams are not difficult, and the passing percentage is 30 percent. Teachers should be stricter with students who misbehave or disturb the whole class.

Our university has great infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our course. Placements provided in our college are good and many students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA in CSE.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like labs, a library, an open gym, cycles for hostel students, a private gym, etc. Labs and libraries are well-mannered that are neat and clean. Sports are peak in our college. Every essential sport is provided in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, very kind, and helpful. They teach well. The course curriculum makes students job-ready but students need to do some basic courses to learn skills. Every day, some new development project goes on.
Other: I chose this course because it has high demand and I am passionate to learn to code. Campus crowd should be improved.

It is a good college and the fees are also low.
Placements: Every year 3 -4 companies come for the interview. Infosys, Wipro, TCS and L&T Infotech have come in the year 2015. The campus interview has been conducted in the college itself, and there is no need to go anywhere. The teachers guide very well during campus interview. The training is conducted at the time of placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. There are two computer labs on the ground floor. Open canteen is available, and veg items are only available. The library is there for students. The water purifier is also available on every floor. The washrooms are also very clean, and there is a separate gym.
Faculty: The faculty are beyond the average. Multiple courses are available for commerce student, for example, B.Com, BAF, etc., and for science student, there is only course available that is B.Sc. (IT). The teachers are too good. The attendance is compulsory. The report card is given to parents only, and students cant collect their report card.

The college has decent faculty and curriculum, but lacks placements and a hostel.
Placements: Few internships offered; most students from the 2022-2025 batch of B.Sc. IT got internships. Very few students from our course got placement opportunities through the college. Most students had to find internships or jobs on their own or opted for higher studies. The college does not have a dedicated placement cell for IT students. The highest package offered was around 2.5 LPA, the average is under 1.8 LPA, and the lowest is below 1.2 LPA. Internships are offered to only a few students, mostly through external efforts. No major tech companies visited our campus.
Infrastructure: In B.Sc. IT course, there are classrooms with fans, projectors in some rooms, a limited number of computer labs, and a library with course-related books. Wi-Fi is available but not very reliable. Labs have holder systems that may not support heavy programming work. There is no hostel facility provided by the college, but PGs are available nearby. The canteen offers average food at affordable prices. Sports activities and medical facilities are limited, and there is no dedicated playground or gym inside the college premises.
Faculty: Some teachers are very supportive and guide students well. The curriculum is updated according to NEP 2020 and includes practical subjects, coding, and soft skill development. Exams are held regularly and follow the university pattern. The difficulty level is moderate, and with proper preparation, most students pass. The pass percentage is around 80-90%. Teachers use digital methods, and some conduct extra sessions for doubt-solving, which is helpful for weak students.
Other: I chose B.Sc. IT because I am interested in software development. The course is a good base for coding, networking, and IT careers. The college teaches important subjects and gives time for self-study. However, I wish the college focused more on practical training, updated lab equipment, and arranged regular seminars or workshops by industry experts. More tie-ups with companies and placement training would help future batches. Affordable B.Sc. IT course with helpful faculty, basic facilities, but limited placements and no hostel.

Hello,
I am afraid that such a transfer from engineering to B.Sc and from one university to another is not feasible. I feel that the best course of action would be to seek transfer to one of the campuses of Manipal in India.
Best wishes to you.
