VIT-AP University BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Scholarships, How to Apply?

Candidates appearing for the upcoming VIT Engineering Entrance Exam can check the previous year's VITEEE cutoff. It is unlikely that VIT will release the official cut-off based on the previous years trends. The cutoff of VITEEE 2024 if released, will be available category-wise. VITEEE cutoff marks are the minimum marks required in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam to get admission into the various campuses. As per the VIT cutoff, candidates with ranks up to 1 Lacs are eligible for VITEEE counselling at the Vellore and Chennai campuses. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) accepts VITEEE scores for admission to B.Tech courses. Candidates with a VITEEE rank between 7500-27500 are eligible for admission. 

VIT also considers JEE Main and SAT exam scores for admission to B.Tech. However, VIT doesn't consider any other entrance score for B.Tech admission. 

To be eligible for admission, candidates must: 

•Pass with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)

•Pass with a minimum overall aggregate of 60%

•Be NATA qualified

VIT's four campuses are in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal. 

Yes, candidates can get Bachelor's of Technology under the VIT-AP University in a full-time regular mode lasting for four years. The CSE course curriculum allows students to choose a specialisation or Minor after the completion of their first year in the University. 

VITEEE 2025 exam is over. Last date to fill VITEEE 2026 application form is March 31, 2026. The exam is likely to be held between April and May, 2026. Result will be released in May, 2026.

VIT Andhra Pradesh BTech course admission is subject to VITEEE exam 2026. Candidates must apply for the VITEEE exam on the official website. 

VITEEE 2026 exam dates are not announced. The authorities will conduct VITEEE 2026 tentatively beteen April and May, 2026. The last for application is March 31, 2026.

Yes, candidates can get a refund of the VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati BTech fees if they choose to withdraw their admission from the couse. VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati offers refunds based on UGC or AICTE norms where, candidates only get refunds if they choose to withdraw their admission within 30 days of the commencement of the course.

Authorities will soon announce tentative dates for commencement of classes for VITEEE 2026 qualified candidates. After counselling process is over, classes are expected to commence for all candidates who have been allotted to BTech courses offered by campuses. The authorities will prepare the VITEEE merit list by checking the candidate's performance in the entrance exam. While filling VITEEE application form, candidates need to pay the fee. VIT application fee for all Indian nationals is INR 1,350 (inclusive of GST). Payment has to be done online through net banking/credit card/debit card. Authorities will not accept any other mode of payment. For test cities abroad, VITEEE application fee is 90 USD, to be paid through credit card.

VIT-AP University does offer admission based on merit to a few courses. The university considers qualifying exam scores for admission to BBA, BCom, Dual degree courses. Aspirants applying for these programmes need to pass a personal interview round for selection.

VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is mandatory for admission to the B.Tech. Programme in Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP). Higher Secondary Board, JEE Main, or SAT scores will not be considered for admission to the B.Tech. Degree Programme. Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer BSc as an dual degree programme with MSc. The dual degree programme lasts for five years and is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course is spreas across ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. The BSc-MSc dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After three years of successful completion of this programme, BSc in degree in Data Science will be awarded and MSc degree in Data Science will be awarded after successful completion of another 2 years.
