VIT Bhopal: A place to grow.

Placements: The placement ratio is very high, like last year, 95% of the candidates got placement, and nearly 3000 candidates applied for the on-campus placement drive from the Computer Science Branch. But the average placement is very low, and it is 7.7LPA. The highest placement till now is 56LPA in Zomato.

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is very poor here. Washrooms are not properly cleaned every day, and mess food is very oily and spicy. Most websites, including ChatGPT, are blocked through college Wi-Fi. The college Wi-Fi provides a speed of 9 Mbps, and most of the time, the routers malfunction. Mobile network connectivity throughout the campus is very poor.

Faculty: The college provides a 100% doctoral faculty who have a good amount of teaching experience. The curriculum in this college is not so placement-ready, as most of the concepts required for a good placement need to be learn by oneself. The exam rules in this college are strict.

Absolutely satisfied because of campus life, placement, and faculty.

Placements: Total number of students placed this year in my course is 1,500. Highest package offered in my course was Rs. 59,00,000, and average was Rs. 9,00,000. Our top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nokia, etc. A total of 80/90% students got internships at Amazon, Microsoft, and Nokia. Top role was HR at Nokia.

Infrastructure: There is a big, lush green campus with good Wi-Fi. There are 2 libraries and a classroom that has a smartboard. Quality of food is hygienic and healthy. There is a hospital on campus with full equipment and medicine. There is a big ground for sports.

Faculty: Here, all teachers are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, and top institutes of India with excellent knowledge in their courses. The syllabus here is enough to make students ready for industry. Semester exam is moderate, one can easily score good marks in semester.

Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering (core) because there is a high demand for CSE students and high packages for this course. Practical classes are better in our course. There are many events, fests, like Aahwahan, yearly college party, etc. Here is a big crowd, something like 16 thousand students in our college. Campus is located on the outskirts of Bhopal. There are many scholarships on our campus.

College that has to contain 0 expectations before and after joining.

Placements: My course is B. Tech CSE (AIML). There are various other courses offered too, but AIML is the most demanded course in VIT Bhopal University. The placements are decent in AIML because it is the present generation's need and hyped technology. There are many companies offering placements in the campus.

Infrastructure: The faculty does not matter about you even if you fail or pass in any of your exams, but they do care about your thoughts. The only need is for you to be active in class. The hostel is so poor; there is no cleaning frequently. It's so ugly that I will never recommend staying in the campus hostel.

Faculty: There is a common chance to select your faculty based on senior suggestions. However, all the faculty are not the same. Some of the faculty don’t even take the class regularly, but some of the faculty are too good and deserve very good students in the class.

Other: There is a good campus life, and when it comes to extracurricular activities, there are many clubs according to your interests, and there are very interesting activities to do. There will be no scholarship opportunities for the students.

It has good infrastructure, good faculty, and a small crowd. Overall, it is great.

Placements: Around 70- 80% of students get placed. The lowest package is 3.6 LPA by TCS. The highest package is 36 LPA, which was offered last year. Overall, the highest package offered is 52 LPA by Microsoft. Many big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, etc., visit our college. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS and Cognizant. Around 90% of students get internships in many companies, varying from Amazon and Microsoft to Wipro and IBM.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and it's under construction. But it has labs of almost all departments, i.e., robotics lab, gaming lab, IOT lab, done lab, electronics lab, electrical lab, etc. Our college has 4 libraries. It also has a separate reading room for students to study quietly. It also has many other interesting things like a coding studio, English studio, etc., which really add to its infrastructure.

Faculty: Here, faculty members are very qualified. They all graduated from IITs. They really have a very good knowledge of their domain. Also, they are very helpful. Our college follows a modern curriculum, and not an old course curriculum like in many other colleges. Here, from the 1st semester onwards, they started teaching us coding and the skills that companies want in placements. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams' difficulty level varies from easy to very hard, but it has no effect on grades. Actually, in our college, there is a relative grading system. There is no such pass percentage.

The college has its pros and cons, but the cons outweigh the pros.

Placements: As my college is still under development, there is a lack of infrastructure. The placement is moderate. The average package this year was 8 LPA, and the highest package was 62 LPA until the current date. It is a good choice, but as a student, I would recommend studying harder and choosing a more reputable college.

Infrastructure: Hostel food is moderate. Hostel facilities are moderate. All facilities are available here, and no ragging is allowed. Infrastructure is very underdeveloped. The new academic block is currently under construction, and a new block for the hostel is also under construction. The whole college is developing slowly.

Faculty: Good facilities are available and no doubt the education is good. The facilities and education are good. The infrastructure is underdeveloped. The hostels are good and well maintained. The mess facilities are moderate and the food is good if we compare it to typical mess food.

Other: No maggie and electric kettles, or any other non-technical electric stuff, are not allowed.
