A: 

To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously: 

  1. Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years. 
  2. UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam and must have been allocated a merit rank.
  3. Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2025.
Q:   How much GATE score is required for M.Tech in IIT Guwahati?
A: 

Admission to M.Tech at IITG is entirely based on GATE score. Candidates with a GATE rank between 600 and 800 and a score between 400 and 800 will have a good chance for getting admitted in an MTech course at IITG. However, as the cutoff marks change for every admission year, hence, the number can vary. A relaxation in the required cutoff is given to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.
