The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released the branch-wise cutoff for NIT Jamshedpur in 2016 based on the Home State and Home State Female; All India and All India Female; based on the opening and closing rounds. The CSE Final Round for the General category ended at 9092.

The National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur cutoff 2016 was released by the Joint Seat Allocation ability (JoSAA) . The cutoffs were made public based on the opening and closing rounds for the All India and All India Female; Home State and Home State Female Categories. Students were allowed to apply for the JoSAA counselling round for various BTech and BTech Integrated courses based on their valid JEE Main scores from 2016. The students were chosen for the counselling rounds based on their ranks, which fell between the opening and closing cutoffs.
