My college review, where I spent the most beautiful time of my life.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed from our batch. The rest chose higher studies like M.Tech and MBA. Top recruiters include EY, Cognizant, GT, Capgemini, TCS, and many more. Moreover, a lot of edtech companies also visit. The TPO is helpful and provides whatever we need.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good. Lab assistants are very nice and help us through the course anytime. The process of doing labs is admirable. The library is extraordinary, with many books, including textbooks. We don’t have to buy books for study. The playzone area is also nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very gentle and helpful, as well as strict sometimes.
Other: I am a part of various clubs at this college, and it is the best part of college life. Being a part of those clubs, which are full of talented people, is an achievement in itself.

Heritage Institute of Technology - A detailed review.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed every year with a very decent starting package. The top 10-15% of students receive quite high-paying jobs. The highest package in 2023 was 16 LPA, and in 2022, it was a high 44 LPA. The highest package is about 4.86 LPA and the lowest package ranges between 3 LPA to 3.1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant. Almost 20-40% of the top students get easy and prestigious internships starting from the third year. Top roles offered in the courses are technical analyst and consultant.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for the courses are quite developed and up to the mark including free Wi-Fi along with excellent speed. We have smart boards and projectors in classrooms with proper lighting and seating arrangements along with a very well-equipped and top-notch air-conditioned library and the facilities of a digital library. Hostel facilities are also great with the availability of AC hostels for girls. The quality of food available in the canteen is also really good along with equally efficient medical facilities. Sports and games are held regularly with vigor.
Faculty: All of the teachers are highly qualified with most of the professors having doctorate degrees. Many of them have completed their masters or PhDs from abroad. Teachers are really sincere and dedicated in their teaching and are always ready to help out the students. The course curriculum is totally relevant except for some modules. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience and makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in our college ranges from moderate to slightly difficult and all of the students manage to pass.
Other: I chose this course due to the ever-increasing demand for data science in recent years. The best thing about this course is that the specialisation in data science makes a student almost indispensable to large tech companies. The course should include programming languages in the first year. Events are a regular happening here while cultural fests have been topped in the last few years. The campus is crowded. The connectivity is really good, and the college lies near the outskirts of the main city. Scholarships are available and extracurricular activities are prioritized.

Dissatisfied with the placement but for money it's good.
Placements: Approximately 40% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 12 LPA, while the lowest package was 3.36 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. There are no companies specifically recruiting for my course; instead, core CSE companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini typically recruit us. On campus there isn't anyone who got an internship and off-campus data isn't available. A senior analyst role at Capgemini has been offered, which is considered one of the top positions available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average and only three buildings are there for B.Teach students and my branch there isn't any fixed floor or building. I have to travel between classes to attend lectures. The library is good and facilities are given there with the availability of Wi-Fi also. The hostel isn't available for boys only for girls hostel is there. The canteen is below average because of the quality of food.
Faculty: Faculty members are good there isn't any doubt about that especially Maths faculty is of top class. It's good can't say to be irrelevant about the course but only that course can't make students industry ready for that practical must be of top class and with that also periodically exams should be taken for practice. The difficulty level of the semester exam is good and to pass the exam students must score 50% marks.

Why you should take admission in HITK.
Placements: About 90 percent of students get placed in the CSE IT branch. The placement cell is very active in this institute.
The highest package offered is 25 LPA.
Top recruiters are TCS, COGNIZANT, GT, EY, GDS, etc.
Most roles are offered for software engineers.
There you will also get the option to switch between software and machine learning.
Infrastructure: There is no AC in classroom but it is available in labs.
Professors are very cooperative.
Good food is available at the cheapest cost in the canteen.
This college does not provide a hostel for boys.
Only a hostel is provided for girls inside the college. Believe me, you will enjoy your campus life.
Faculty: Professors are well qualified and very cooperative.
This course is very relevant; you will learn advanced tools and technology.
It's not very hard to pass semester but if you have to gain good marks, you have to work hard. There is not any partiality. This course also included machine learning and AI.
Other: This course specially required lots of mathematical and statistical calculation. If you are good in mathematics, then definitely go for it.

No.1 private college in West Bengal.
Placements: As Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science is a new branch in this college, that's why there is no placement record for this department till now. The 2025 batch will be the first batch to pass out from this branch. But teachers say that the placement will be the same as the core CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good, along with a beautiful campus. Wi-Fi is available on campus. There is also a big library where you can get course-related books. The girls hostel is inside the campus, but there is no hostel for boys. Several canteens are here and the quality of the food is awesome, according to its price.
Faculty: The teachers are literally very helpful, and they are also qualified and knowledgeable. Except for some teachers, the overall teaching quality is good. But you have to do self-study for a good result. This course deals with numerous of the latest technologies, like Smart Sensing technology, Machines learning, etc. So definitely, this course will make the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams is moderate. Class teacher notes and previous year's questions are enough to score good marks.
Other: The one thing I want to share is that you shouldn't expect any freshers or fests from this college. Apart from this, all other things are good at this college. There is no ragging in this college and the seniors are very helpful.
