As per the admission criteria, there is no provision for direct admission for BArch at IIEST Shibpur. The admission for BArch at IIEST Shibpur is entrance-based. The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. Yes, the IIEST Shibpur follows a seat reservation policy for the MPlan. The institute follows the reservation policies of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Candidates must present the certificates for EWS/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/Person with Disability (PwD) as per the Govt. of India Rules. Additionally, there are 25 seats available for its MPlan programme. However, the number of seats available after completion of all rounds through CCMT in various schools, departments or center.
