IIT Kharagpur's Vinod Gupta School of Management offers a two-year MBA degree in seven specializations and one micro specialisation. The Vinod Gupta School of Management's (VGSOM) flagship MBA curriculum is a residential programme for recent engineering graduates and those who have earned master's degrees in Science, the field of economics or commerce. The MBA programme has developed into one of the best in the nation, fusing the IITs' strengths in technical education with contemporary management philosophy. The basic eligibility requirement for the M.Tech programme IIT Kharagpur is pass in Class 12^th with a min. of 75% aggregate, bachelor's degree holder with a 60% aggregate and the accepted entrance exams are GATE and others. Students must secure good marks in entrance tests to match the cut off released by the college.

IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2025 was released for admission to BTech(Hons), BSc courses and their specialisations, as well as for the BArch course for all rounds and categories under the All India quota.

The last round cutoff in 2025 ranged from 466 to 19141 for the General AI category students, wherein BTech (Hons) Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest branch to get admission to. On the other hand, the easiest course for admission was the Bachelor of Architecture.

IIT Kharagpur offers BTech (Hons.) in CSE course based on JEE Advanced scores. Among all the courses, CSE remained the most demanded course over the years. Considering the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2024, the CSE last-round cutoff stood at 415 for the General AI category candidates. Comparing the 2024 CSE cutoff with previous year, an increase in the CSE cutoff has been seen in 2024. The Science and the HSS Department of IIT Kharagpur started four-year BSc programme admission to which is subject to a valid rank in JEE Advanced exam.  Aspirants seeking IIT Kharagpur BSc and Integrated MSc admission need to qualify for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams to get shortlisted. If you get a good score in the JEE Main, you would then have to pass the exam of JEE Advanced for admission into IIT Kharagpur.
