IIT Kharagpur curriculum for BSc courses differs for each specialisation. However, some common topics taught in the first year of each specialisations are Mathematics, Programming and Data Structures Tutorial and Laboratory, Electrical Technology, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Engineering Drawing and Computer Graphics, Induction Program and more.
As per the elgibility criteria released by the IITs, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The Science and the HSS Department of IIT Kharagpur started four-year BSc programme admission to which is subject to a valid rank in JEE Advanced exam. Aspirants seeking IIT Kharagpur BSc and Integrated MSc admission need to qualify for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams to get shortlisted. For eligibility, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate.
