Steps For Admission and e-Counselling for IIMC Entrance Exam 2026
Follow the steps provided below to complete your IIMC Entrance Exam counselling process -
1. Online Registration: For IIMC admission, candidates who appeared for CUET PG and are qualified and eligible for admission must register online. The IIMC counselling registration form is made available at iimc.gov.in. Online Registration by all the eligible candidates will be allowed only in round 1 and spot rounds of counselling. Candidates are required to enter CUET PG Roll Number, CUET PG Application Number, Candidate Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth and Gender in the Registration Form.
These parameters will be authenticated with the CUET PG Result data. After successful authentication, candidates need to choose a password to complete the remaining steps for registration. After successful registration, candidates will use the CUET PG Roll Number and chosen password for subsequent logins.
2. Application Form Submission: After the successful submission of the registration form, candidates will have to log in to complete the remaining activities by filling the multiple fields of a form like qualification details, contact details, etc. In the application form, candidates can only modify their date of birth.
3. Registration Fee Payment: All successful registered candidates are required to pay the registration fee. The registration fee amount will be as follows.

4, Choice Filling Process: Candidates who have successfully registered and paid the registration fee are required to submit their choices of institute/ campus and programs/ courses in order of their preference. Candidates can fill in as many choices in the order of their preference as they wish. They can also change, re-order, or delete choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices.
5. Choice Locking: IIMC will enable the 'Lock choice' button according to the counselling schedule. Candidates are advised to lock their choices only after they are sure of the seat and course.
Note: After the choices are locked, candidates will not be able to change their choices. If a candidate fails to lock his/ her choices before a pre-announced deadline, his/ her choices will be locked automatically by the system after the deadline.
6. Allotment of Seats & Download Provisional Allottment Letter: Candidates will be allotted seats based on their selected preferences and rank order. For this, a Seat Allottment Algorithm will be used. Also, merit as per AIR and reservation criteria will also be considered. Download the provisional alotment letter, if selected.
7. Willingness Submission: Candidates with allotted seats have to submit their willingness via Float or Freeze.
- Float: It means Yes Upgradation: Yes I want to upgrade my choices in subsequent rounds of counselling.
- Freeze: It means No Upgradation: No, I am satisfied with the allotted seat and I don't want upgradation in subsequent rounds of counselling.
8. Upload Required Document: Candidates will have to upload these essential documents after getting allocation.
- Age Proof - Class 10 certificate or any other valid certificate will be Mandatory
- Graduate or equivalent mark sheet or Undertaking: Mandatory
- CUET (PG) Admit Card: Mandatory
- CUET (PG) Score Card: Mandatory
- Category Certificate: Mandatory for SC/ST/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL.
- PwD Certificate: Mandatory of PwD Candidates.
9. Online Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates must pay an amount of INR 20,000/- as a Seat Acceptance Fee to confirm their allotted seat. In case, a candidate doesn’t pay the required fee within the decided time frame then his/ her allotted seat will be cancelled.
10. Admission Fee: After document verification, if the allotted seat gets confirmed and the candidate has given the willingness as FREEZE, then the candidate will pay the required Admission Fee; otherwise, the allotted seat will be cancelled. The admission fees will be calculated based on the chosen programme.
12. Withdrawal Process: The withdrawal process will be carried out as per schedule. The fee shall be refunded online by IIMC, New Delhi, within a specified period as per the refund policy.

- The tuition fee for the two MA courses must be paid in two instalments. International students must pay half of it ($8000) before the start of year 1 of their programme. Similarly, the other half must be paid before the start of year 2. For PG Diploma courses, the tuition fee must be paid before the commencement of the programmes.
